Take what I say with great concern: Don't fuck with me or my men. We only accept your deal to wander Earth and bring a escaping soul to Hell where he belongs. However, if at any moment, I learn that you screwed me over, you will deal with a whole new batch of monsters, and believe me, they're worse than any serial killer you know.
~ Nightmare to Golden Freddy, foreshadowing the nightmares attack.

The Nightmares are major antagonists of The Nights. They are a clan of demons from Hell who set out to capture William Afton to bring him to Hell as part of a deal with Golden Freddy before attacking the Missing Kids for their sins. They are the main antagonists of the Raising Hell arc.

Personalities[]

The Nightmares have a similar set of behaviors. They are known for being violent, especially towards sinners. They truly despise liars, and will even turn against children if necessary. They are also known for their sadism, as seen with Nightmare taunting William over his failure as a father and both Nightmare Freddy and Fredbear mocking the Kids for being foolish enough to fall for Afton's schemes. Despite this, when they are not out terrorizing others, the Nightmares are shown to be rather goofy individuals. They are known for joking around and generally acting family-like.

Nightmare, Nightmare Fredbear, Nightmare Bonnie and Nightmarionne are generally the most responsible and take charge when in different situations. The others, on the other hand, are rather goofy and eccentric in their free time and are usually seen playing games or watching TV.

Quotes[]

Nightmare Fredbear: When darkness falls and the corpses reak.

Nightmarionne: Don't lay your head, or start to sleep.
Nightmare Freddy: For monsters lurk and use your fears.
Nightmare Bonnie: They are the demons, who now appear.
Nightmare Chica: They only come when sinners are near.
Nightmare Foxy: We tell you this, for those Nightmares are here!

~ A poem made by the Nightmares to taunt victims.

Trivia[]

  • Their goofiness is inspired by their portrayal by Xman 723.
  • They share inspirations with Their portrayal in Mike's New Ghostly Family.
    • They are demons from Hell with a lot of authority.
    • They are shown to be a family (or in the Nights case, implied).
    • They have a distaste for evil-doers and dishonor.
      • However, (aside from roles) these Nightmares have many differences. For one, they lack a proper moral code and have no qualms killing strangers to get their way. They are also enemies with the Missing Kids rather than sympathetic. They also show support for Fazbear Entertainment, fully knowing of their greed and using it, knowing it will ruin more lives.
