The Dominant Sensatories, better known as The Nine Bullies, are a group of 9 overarching antagonists who appear in Joe Venture. They are a group that is lead by Lucas Wookville. They were all former school students with Joebotnik, and now serve as a group of Joe's archenemies that also work as right-hand freelance lab assistants to The Gatekeeper.

Biography[]

Beginnings[]

School timeline[]

Lucas, Kaniyah, Amir, Roger and Yarko were Joe's first-ever antagonists in 3rd-6th grade in San Diego Mira Mesa during 2015. Starting in 3rd grade of Rason Elementary, Amir was solely the cause for him, Roger and his group beating him up for no real reason. Amir would attempt assaulting Joe behind his back and faked a injury in front of every kid at Joe's age during recess.

Venturing into 5th grade in another school called Rickman Elementary, Lucas and Kaniyah were known to be petty rivals were get thrills out of getting Joe in trouble during class just to make Joe look bad on purpose; notable examples include the beginning of Lucas' rivalry to Joe by Lucas once got mad at Joe getting good grades at a math test pushing in chairs to push down Joe's chair by desk (when his teacher Mrs. Linghammer was discussing math) as Joe confirms Lucas' behavior to everyone which gets Lucas to give Joe the stink eye, the time Lucas and another classmate Bernedo tattled on Joe for reading a book while his middle fingers were holding the book (making the assumption that he flipped the birds at them even when that wasn't his intentions) as he and the rest gets everyone in the class to raise their hands if they thought Joe doing something bad was true and the teacher puts him in detention as a result, and the time Lucas tattled on him for just using the restroom in a clumsy way. Kaniyah was shown to cause all of the girls fighting each other over Joe due to Kaniyah's secret infatuation over him, and he even intimidates Vivienne Archling to stay away from Joe without him knowing what she said.

Venturing into 6th grade; everyone from both schools, Rason and Rickman Elementary, join into the middle school Joe got into called Spacial Challenger Middle (Roger is not heard of ever again). Joe encountered Amir and Kaniyah again, where the worst Amir did was start a fight with Joe because of Joe making a mild retort of him being too aggressive towards Joe and Amir punched Joe in the eye as Joe didn't do anything in return. Kaniyah has became a little more bossy and manipulative towards Joe's innocence, as she tries telling him to give her his snacks he got himself in a greedy and supercilious way; but she does mind her own business now compared to 5th grade. Joe also meets Yarko, a nerdy guy who wants to be friends with Joe but goes about it in the wrong way, being too needy, strong-willed and possessive for his own good unless Joe gets a counselor to tame his obnoxious behavior. Yarko became more of a obstacle for Joe since he'd want Joe to get him snacks, try too hard to hang out with him, and one time kept forcing Joe to keep a ad about couches Joe rejected already and kept stalking him until Joe got a counselor to control his stubborn behavior.

After Joe moved from San Diego to Kaiserslautern Germany (a school on base while Joe lives outside of said base), this was when Joe got worser treatment in social matters (sometimes physically) when he entered middle school; Warrior Middle. Where a man named Alexander met Joe during 7th grade, Joe naively thought Alex, his brother Randy and his friends were good to be around for the time due to Alex behaving like a nice person. But little did Joe knew, because of Joe being a insecure goofball who wanted to be friends with everyone; Alex used his weaknesses for the public to look down on him. Alex was entirely responsible for the whole school defaming him as a public nuisance to everyone despite being a good student, as he told Randy to trip over Joe while he and Joe were running to the water section (Joe hits his body on the edge pave of the gym stairs mind you), he got every girl to think Joe was a sleazy perverted horndog for just flirting with two girls his age Havannah and Nikki by physical contact with the arms and legs, as teachers and counselors misperceived his flirtations for sexual harassment (which Joe's parents saw this as minor compared to what sexual harassment was much worse in the past).

All of which were caused due to Alex telling Oscar and other people to make Joe look bad non-stop, which made Joe learn what not to do at one point. In Chemistry class, Rolton sits with a very mild-mannered black smart-aleck named Jerry and two asian dark-skinned twins named Lenny and Larry, were all supposed friends towards but Rolton and Connor (a friend of Alex's and formerly Joe's) would often mess with him. Most notably, two times when Joe was provoked by Rolton and kept using Joe's stuttering as a way to poke fun at him during a conversation, and one time he was having a bad day (nobody knowing this mind you) as Connell kept messing with his school laptop when he was making a email and messing with Joe's book during quiet hours, which made Joe so angry he yelled at him to be quiet; even though he was too angry to make coherent sentences about figuratively using a fence to block any form of annoyance, he yelled at Connell to leave him alone for everyone to hear loud and clear, but Rolton doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut as he bluntly criticizes Joe for making incoherent sentences when he's still frustrated, just to be a jerk towards him.

As it ventured into Warrior High, it doesn't get much better socially. Despite Joe finding some decent friends to be around and some people who genuinely like being around him as a jocular person, Joe still had to deal with Alex, Randy and Rolton; with Alex and Randy becoming much more like thrill-seeking toxic friends with a hidden malicious side towards Joe. As well as Rolton becoming more bossy, hypocritical and mean-spirited towards Joe, and the brothers Alex and Randy, did everything in their power to make Joe's 9th grade a bad time towards people his age.

Joe also met a guy in biology class named Zionic, he was one of Joe's most harmless and least antagonistic of classmates most of the time, but he has shown to be mean-spirited when one time he slapped his neck for the fun of it (resulting in Joe doing the same to Zionic on Joe's way to math class).

Alex has continued his underhanded crimes of defamation inflicted onto Joe; many examples of this includes the time Joe got a cute chubby gal named Kimmy (who felt in love with Joe just enough to hug him from the back because of Joe calling her beautiful since Joe was seeking out for romance sometimes) to date a ugly fat classmate of Joe's named Nathan, Joe one time physically flirting with a pretty and slim black JROTC gal named Kattie by wrapping his leg with hers while the two were sitting down in a group table as well as Katty herself giving Joe a moment of a grinding lapdance while Joe and Katty's group were presenting their class presentation (resulted in Rolton being passive-aggressive and interrupting their chatting when it was lunchtime and Alex told a group of aggressive black people to intimidate Joe so he doesn't stay around Katty), he almost got Joe into serious trouble when he told Joe to climb over his neighbor's fence to get a frisbee (which his parents were mad at Alex for being disrespectful of them and his mom didn't appreciate Alex changing the time when to be picked up without telling his mom or Joe's mom first), and most remarkably; Alex got to spread lies and rumors towards people at a Burger King restaurant one time to make Joe look evil, as Joe was waiting for his order and hanged out with a group of people in the back as they all look at him in fear and stood still as if Joe had a knife or a weapon, and Joe asks them what and they remain frozen and slowly walk away from him as if he was a murderer. The moment Joe stopped being friends with him was the last sleepover Joe had with Alex at Alex's house, after they watched cartoons, played video games and explored through Alex's neighborhood before getting their pizza, Joe pretended to be asleep in the living room after Alex and Randy were twerking on him just to make him feel humiliated on purpose for the fact Joe mistakenly dry-humped Alex by the tush with Joe's crotch due to the stress he was having in general, Alex in his room pretends to be remorseful and sobbing while Joe was asleep and spout out every single bad thing he did to Joe like gaslighting him to the public, being responsible for most students to be hostile towards him in 7th-9th grade, making every gal break up with him, and all of which was said when Joe was still awake to hear this (all of which Joe's mom knew from the very start). This made Joe leave Alex's house without saying a word to any of them.

Fortunately, Joe got to leave Germany for all the stress and anxiety he got for the time caused by Alex, Randy, Rolton and everyone Alex manipulated into acting hostile and mean-spirited towards Joe for petty reasons. Joe moved to Temecula, and had more of a refreshing state of mind. This means Ian, was Joe's last rival he had at the high school VHS High, Ian tries provoking him with other classmates because of a gal in math class named Madeleine, made flirty jokes in math class and history class about Joebotnik being his girlfriend (which made Joe bashful and nervous in response). Ian happens to be more verbally aggressive than by action since the one time he tried pushing Joe over to get Joe hit by the edge of a table; Joe stopped himself and backhand slaps Ian, which made him respond childishly and angrily as Joe ignores and walks to his seat.

Ever since, Ian would become Joe's most harmless provoker as he just trash-talks or try to get his friends excited about anything Joe did like Joe flipping off Ian for trying to mock Joe about Joe's mannerisms in a childish way. Despite this, he is the only rival who minds his own business.

Present time (2019)[]

Lucas, while remaining in San Diego Mira Mesa Blvd. CA for the time, has been shown to be a bored individual at a bar who'd chill by himself after doing his usual job of robbing unsuspecting people out of their money by working as a gardener who charges $100 for his own company he made up, leaving him to be a wealthy person who makes lies and simple work as a con-artist for a living. Usually living by himself and playing video games on his spare time.

It was also shown that Amir became a wrestler, Kanyiah became a Vlogging fashion artist who walks anywhere and takes pics of herself since she became a model, Roger became a headstrong military soldier, Zionic became a Barber Businessman who hangs out with gangsters, Alexander became a vlogging gamer and a video-producer on his spare time due to becoming a Hair model for a living, Ian became a bartender, and Yarko became a waiter at a cafe restaurant.

This was all until one day, on a single occasion Lucas founded a rare amulet, and putting it on unknowingly gave him tons of omniscient knowledge in general, as well as giving him some omnipotence and magic. So when he used the amulet to gain memories of his past like thinking about Joebotnik McCricket himself, he thought to spawn his most prominent bullies, nuisances and rivals in his goal to get revenge for Joe due to planning out this dream to happen for years since 5th grade.

Doing this, Lucas brought in Kaniyah to help him on this quest to get revenge by going to a park she was at to collab on this revenge plot Lucas had, Kaniyah helps Lucas in getting ideas who should be included in the group. After strategizing the plan, Lucas used his amulet to spawn Amir (Joe's bully in 3rd grade and 6th grade) and Roger (Joe's bully in 3rd grade); Lucas then explains to the both of them who getting revenge over Joe (as well as being paid in Lucas' group called "The Dominant Sensatories") would be the best thing in their lives; Amir and Roger both agree and befriend each other. Lucas using his knowledge and omniscience of Joe's list of rivals, he then spawns Zionic and Rolton (Joe's bullies in 9th grade), Alex (Joe's bully in 7th-9th grade), Ian (Joe's former bully in 10th grade), and Yarko (Joe's rival in 5th grade); Lucas explains the same deal and benefits to everyone, as Alex and Rolton eventually befriend with each other after Rolton used to see him as a trouble-maker.

Yarko being the only one to ask if it was all really worth it, and Lucas explains how all of the benefits could come with Yarko getting what he wanted out of Joe when Lucas saw Yarko trying to give Joe a ad for couches in 6th grade; thinking Joe was a jerk when that wasn't the case, so Yarko got his sneaky and weasley side back to him. Lucas, Alex and Rolton even made the gossip towards each other of seeing Joe inappropriate stuff like rape, harassment and torture when this wasn't true at all. All of which got everyone equally motivated to lash their hatred and vengeance at Joe like a bunch of sadistic sociopaths.

First Dimension[]

They spawned The Gatekeeper while they were all on earth, and they spread gossip and bits of slander about Joe being a annoying nuisance. Which allows them to be taken to his lab, and they all get to watch and jeer at Joebotnik at being tortured while remaining in a cosmic warp hole before Joe gets launched to dimensions.

Third Dimension[]

Joe was getting really proactive in his bogeyman persona as "Joogie Boogie", meaning he had the power and control to assert dominance onto anyone while he was wanting Oogie Boogie to have his trust, so Joebotnik used his magic to spawn The Nine Bullies in a bag as a form of retribution. Everyone in the group were helpless and under Joe's control, meaning Joe as Joogie Boogie, used these guys to take them out of the bags of souls Joe got and placed each of them on a torture spinning wheel before forcing all of them to be his and Oogie's minions to fetch holiday spirits for Oogie's goal of obtaining power and to fetch artifacts for Joe to weaponize. Joe even names each of these guys as his minions in number, so in order: #1 was Lucas, #2 was Amir, #3 was Kaniyah, #4 was Yarko, #5 was Alex, #6 was Zionic, #7 was Ian, #8 was Roger and the worst for last #9 was Rolton.

They were all equally as fearful and paranoid of what Joe could do in a "overbearing villain" persona, so they all followed his orders to retrieve said spirits with metallic armor, gizmos and gadgets that'd catch them flawlessly with gauntlets that can hold in souls. Especially since all of their minds was under Joe's control as well, meaning that betraying them would be a considerably foolhardy idea to make.

Once they were done searching and quickly bringing Joe and Oogie what they wanted; souls and artifacts, Yarko attempts tricking Oogie and Joe with white-lying about the gauntlet being left outside for him to get, which has Oogie catch him red-handed when Yarko had the gauntlet behind him the whole time. While everyone passed over the soul orbs to Oogie, Yarko asked him about getting bathroom breaks, and Oogie turns down the request over wanting the orbs he captured.

After Joebotnik as Joogie Boogie, instigates plans of conquest, he gets them all to build Oogie Town with their armor and gadgets. Afterwards, Joe gets his dimension ray and while telling Oogie about his plan, Minions #1-#9 gets blasted through the portal and are sent back to The Gatekeeper, rendering everyone in the group to be considered incompetent by The Gatekeeper being mad at everyone for letting Joe get ahead, and he forces them to be his lab scientists to work non-stop for their mistakes right before The Gatekeeper swats Joe and sends him to another realm as soon as Joe is seen flying through another warp hole upon resetting every sin in the Third Dimension.

Ninth Dimension[]

When Joe finally gets to approach The Gatekeeper, he bringed in a purified Trigod to terrify The Gatekeeper, which Yarko alerts them of Joe's omnipotent presence. Joe then summons lawyers, policemen, and news reporters to confirm The Gatekeeper and the bullies for their actions, the bullies get bigger in size once Joe had them cornered and tied up, just enough for the policemen to arrest all 9 of them. Meaning they got their comeuppances for aiding The Gatekeeper's torturously corrupted company, and were sent to juvenile jail.

Personality[]

The majority 8 people that make up the group, are equally just as single-minded, petty, sadistic, loudmouthed, manipulative, delusional, immature and considered worthless to Joebotnik, who the latter had put up with them for a while in school.

Each of them (with the exception of Yarko) always had dreams of inflicting torment onto Joe for the fact they considered him "annoying" and a "obnoxious chatterbox", but now has to deal with them torturing Joe with the help of The Gatekeeper.

Lucas Wookville[]

See on his page for more details

Amir Dreiling[]

He is the most brutish, short-tempered and the shortest of the group. Hard-headed, surly, wrathful, stubborn, easily irritable, deadpan, irreverent and not really polite to anyone in general. In fact, he practically hates most people, and likes being a jerk to Joe for his own personal enjoyment. However, he got a soft side when he met Lucas and the group he lived with now since they all have similarities he can identify with them in terms of egomania, sadism, and vengeance.

He was known to be Joe's first bully who'd fight him physically, and the one Joe survived most fights caused by him.

Kanyiah Kaylor[]

She is a sassy and selfish-minded person. She was quite jealous and envious of Joebotnik being around a kind-hearted quirky girl named Vivienne Archling, Kanyiah would try to force her to stay away from him on their way to get lunch and make Joe look bad in front of everyone for the fact Joe was the good-looking guy who had no interest in Kanyiah herself.

When it was recess in 5th grade, she'd encounter Joe a lot, once wanted to hold Joe in her arms, and would sometimes block Joe from playing in a spot Joe wanted to be at.

She was even crazy enough to try proposing a forced marriage with Joe if Joe doesn't want public humiliation and harassment, meaning she's always been manipulative since day one.

As time passed on, she became less concerned about Joe until she met up with Lucas and the group, who seeked to get revenge towards Joe alongside Lucas when the latter meets up with her at a park to collab.

Roger Pools[]

He is simply the deadpan, unemotional, grim, and serious-minded one in the group. Who knew Joe since 3rd grade and always participated in his favorite activity with beating up Joebotnik in a group of generic bullies that Amir established in the same school for the time.

Zionic Krooley[]

He is a brash African-American gangster in nature. Who acts smug and cocky, acts like he's from the hood, and happens to be a thoughtless & careless jerk who dreams of burning down schools for the fact he completely hates school in itself.

He may seem calm, harmless and collected in class, but happens to be abusive, domineering and malicious with Joe when nobody's looking, he has shown to make Joe uncomfortable by talking about sissifying him sometimes and telling him stories of burning down schools. He has also physically slapped Joe on the neck as a joke (which results in Joe inflicting it onto him also).

Even though he's not considered to be the smartest person around, as he did start fights over someone sitting in his seat which usually ends up humiliating himself, he has some level in rationale and knows when to stand his ground despite being one of the weakest people in terms of combat and predicaments.

Alexander Jerryson[]

He is the most manipulative, underhanded, dishonest and sneaky of Joe's rivals. He usually befriends most people to make himself seem charismatic and friendly to the public, and while he was Joe's friend; he was disrespecting Joe behind his back for the fact he has a father figure (something Alex never had ever since he always lived with his brother Randy Jerryson and his mild-mannered mother Hopley Jerryson). He used to be friends with Joe since they'd hang out a lot at school and at Joe's house.

Alex is a master manipulator and orator of lies, as he has a group of friends that'd follow whatever he says due to having some form of charisma. When Joe had one female love-interest for the time, he'd get his brother Randy to lie to the lover herself when Joe isn't around, to make her go out with someone else uglier than Joe, on purpose. Despite this, he pretends to be a good friend to Joe and have a fun time with Joe when in reality, he was never sincere and wanted Joe to be around and nothing more but to make Joe do risk-taking things like climbing over fences to get a frisbee back (or walking through the edges of a concrete creek with a pond while the two were waiting for a German pizza place to finish the pizzas as ordered), all for the fun of getting Joe in trouble and laughing at Joe in his face when Joe's parents get mad at Joe by mistake before Joe's mom notices how much of a sneaky pest Alex was.

He also has shown to have a hidden perverted and immature side in his sadistic acts of messing with Joe. Examples of this is the time Alex and Randy had once twerked on Joe while Joe was lying on the floor in Alex's living room, and once Joe slept in the same bed as Alex and Randy; Alex also pressured Joe into "getting loose" and in Joe's sleep, Alex moved closer to Joe so the latter would unintentionally hump Alex's tush from the back, not knowing what Joe actually did. Alex is also okay with farting in the same room of Joe's house, and laughing it off like it's funny.

He was also very malicious and facetious with a pragmatic flair to his misdeeds for Joe being nearly injured fatally when Joe was in school (most of the time), notable examples include him telling Alex's brother Randy to trip Joe over at the gym when everyone ran to the water fountain to hit the edge of concrete stairs (nearly fracturing Joe's face but falls on the floor instead) and him lying to Rolton about Joe throwing a rock at him which caused Rolton to assault Joe violently.

The turning point Joe had with Alex being friends with him was when Alex confirmed anything bad he did so Joe would knew everything he did while fake sobbing to make him seem remorseful, but Joe instantly realized it was insincere and left Alex's house without saying a word to them nor their mom.

Ian Jerrington[]

Ian is (remarkably) the most incompetent and dimwitted in the group, never being the sharpest knife in the drawer as a bully to Joe to begin with, and likes being rude and demeaning towards Joe by trash-talking him for his trivial enjoyment in making Joe look bad or irritated.

In fact, Joe used self-defense in class to get him to stop bullying him in the first place, where one time Ian tried shoving Joe onto the edge of a table and Joe stops himself from his head being slammed on the edge of a table (which could've severely disfigure Joe) and Joe single-handedly backhand slaps Ian directly in the face as simple retribution, which gets him yelling like a raging manchild in front of other classmates; to of which Joe ignores and goes back to his seat like a badass, meaning Ian learned from his mistake with bullying Joe physically.

He is also shown to be a bumbling fool where Joebotnik made a playful and sarcastic banter while he was nervous in high school, Ian calls him "stupid" as a result of not getting the joke Joe was making about an hypothetical joke about planes being on roads and paths being "likely" to happen as a sarcastic joke Joe made of what sounds "dumb", Ian then has a klutz moment when he tries going on his skateboard and slips and falling on his back (to of which Joe laughs behind his back).

As time passed on, he may try to get Joe's attention over trash-talking or teasing him at times; but he became more harmless ever since. When he got introduced to the group, he blindly agreed with Lucas plan over messing with Joe because of being a junkie.

Rolton Wriles[]

He is simply a misguided, arrogant and pompous man who lives in a militaristic family (similar to Roger and Joe), but he happens to have a very pretentious, condescending, domineering, ruthless, demeaning, superficial, facetious, and egotistical approach with how he behaves with Joe when the latter was just goofing around in a jovial way and meaning no harm. He also tends to bluntly criticize Joe's actions when Joe is clearly frustrated around people that keep messing with him to no end, being nothing much other than a asshole to Joe, and likes making fun of Joe when he's at his most insecure and vulnerable (doing nothing but highlighting Joe's weaknesses for his enjoyment).

Despite behaving calmly and rationally with serious-minded people, he is so cocky, egomaniacal and supercilious that he genuinely views Joe as a imbecile for just being frustrated in a negative environment that Joe is put through and something Rolton is completely unaware of, but plays nice when Joe is sad or not joking around (what Rolton thinks is okay, but he never accepts Joe for the way he is and likes showboating him).

He is also often the most reclusive and judgemental of people, as he surrounds himself around with smart-alecks like him and he even acts blunt and rude towards insecure or naive people (to of which, Joe can sympathize and identify himself with). He even treats people like Joe (ex. Nicholas; an somewhat brash & nerdy yet affable Italian student) as intellectually (and by maturity) inferior to him and his friends. Even though he keeps telling Joe to be quiet since he thinks Joe's goofy banters are completely unfunny and nothing short of "obnoxious", Rolton would still talk down on him even when Joe's already enraged by bothersome people one time with vain remarks.

Just because he is blunt and harsh towards Joe verbally, he had one moment of assaulting Joe before he learned kung fu. Where Alex encouraged Joe (when he was more naive, nervous and vulnerable for the time) to be around Rolton when Alex lied in Rolton's face about Joe throwing a rock at him when Alex did it, which made Rolton such a hothead he lashed his anger at Joe.

He has a layer of deluded ignorance in him despite acting like the snarky voice of reason. Where Joe corrected Rolton on how to say the word "imbecile" when Rolton said it in the exact same way Moe Howard from The Three Stooges mispronounced the word with no shame, and Rolton still thinks both ways of saying it doesn't make a difference when clearly, Joe pronounced the word correctly and Rolton ignored it as if he's in the right when he really wasn't. Another good example was when one of Joe's counselors called out on Rolton calling Joe and his friends "kids" when Rolton is one also, thus making him a delusional hypocrite.

Yarko Yesgoto[]

Similar to Alex, he was also friends with Joe in school. Unlike everyone in the group, Yarko was the only person in the group who genuinely likes Joe, had something of a affable side towards Joe and was in fact, too crazy about wanting to hang out with him as of 5th-6th grade, but happens to be somewhat insecure and persistent in approach.

Despite wanting to have Joe to himself as of 6th grade, he comes across as needy and possessive of Joe several times, trying way too hard to seem intelligent, alluring, or pleasing of Joe when the latter didn't want anything from him. Joebotnik has always remembered the times Yarko would stalk him a lot in the first year of middle school for either wanting Joe to buy him snacks at lunch, wanting Joe to accept advertisements Joe didn't want anything to do with in the first place, and always asked Joe if he wanted to hang out with him after school with making sweet-talking lies about him having robots Joe wanted as a kid (which Joe doesn't fall for). Meaning that Yarko was (either intentionally or unintentionally) more of a nuisance to Joe than a antagonist prior to being in the group in Joe Venture.

Even though he tends to be possessive of Joe and has been provoking Joe many times, Yarko was the most loyal and dedicated towards Joe before Lucas convinced him to follow along with Lucas and the group's malicious revenge plot. He only agreed to it by force, meaning he wasn't really wanting to torment Joe, to begin with.

During the plot of Joe Venture, remarkably he was the only person in the group who didn't want to hurt Joe and mostly felt bad for Joe's predicament with being tortured by The Gatekeeper, but was too much of a spineless coward to say or do anything about it to the group of eight, he had to follow The Gatekeeper and his groups' orders during a villainous career as the groups analyst so nothing bad would happen to him. Meaning he was joining in the petty sadism from his group, just to survive and get ahead even if it meant getting himself involved into a situation he didn't want to be in.
