History[]
Oswald Cobblepot used to live happily in Gotham as the most powerful and notorious crime lord. Eventually, he was put into Blackgate Prison up until the moment in which he escaped and made an alliance with Two-Face, who formed The Legion of Horribles. Along with his boss / temporary partner Two-Face, and also with Bane, Mr. Freeze and Harley Quinn, The Penguin used the doorway which was created from the power of the hero crystal to enter another universe in which Bruce Wayne is a youngster and he is friends with Selina Kyle and Jack Leeson (who is secretly The Joker). Behind everyone's back, Jack was responsible for using the crystal's powers without knowing that The Legion of Horribles including Oswald have used the doorway into this universe, with evil intentions of destroying everything in the existance, starting with the DC fanfilm universe. The Penguin and Two-Face then enter their evil lair and discuss matters. Oswald questioned Two-Face and asked him why they went so far into another universe. Two-Face scolded at him and a moment after he convinced Oswald to help him because they shall bring justice to all universes. Two-Face also encouraged Oswald to help him by promising him that he could touch the crystal and use it to wipe out his own Gotham so he will not have to suffer Jim Gordon and Batman from his town of Gotham.
Oswald agreed, and the two of them went to the Ace chemical factory to find Jack / The Joker who stole the hero crystal from a musem. Their intentions were to steal the crystal from The Joker at all costs, even if they have to cause mayhem or kill lots of people. The Penguin and Two-Face eventually find The Joker with Harley. Oswald angrily demands Jack to give him the crystal if he doesn't want to die. However, Harley betrayed The Penguin and Two-Face and she defected from The Legion of Horribles by trying to protect Jack and begging Two-Face not to kill her new boyfriend. Two-Face then tosed a coin to decide if Jack would live or die. Luckily for The Joker and Harley, the coin showed it's black side, and therefore Two-Face warned him not to interfear in his plans. Oswald still wanted to kill Jack however, but Harley and Jack escaped the area. Two-Face and The Penguin later kidnapp Selina Kyle so they could lore Batman and The Joker into a deadly trap. Two-Face then took her to the Ace chemical factory, and suprisingly, Two-Face, The Penguin and Selina encountered The Joker and Harley there. The notorious Two-Face promised to kill all of them, but before he could do any damage to anyone he aimed his gun at The Penguin and betrayed him, so that The Penguin won't have his share and touch the crystal. An angered Penguin starts yelling at Two-Face, and he implies that he has done everything for Two-Face and instead of thanking him Two-Face points a gun at him and threatens to kill him out of selfish reasons. After that, The Joker taunts Two-Face and tells him that he can never be as strong as Batman. An angered Two-Face shoots Jack and watches as The Joker falls into the acid bath.
Two-Face gets hold of the crystal and toses his black and yellow coin to decide if the existance shall be wiped out or left alone. Unfortunately, the coin showed it's yellow side and Two-Face then attempted to use the hero crystal's powers in order to destroy all universes.
The two Batman versions however interfeared and Batman from the DC fanfilms told the others to get out of the area quickly so that he and Selina can distract Two-Face and fight against him alone and personally. The Penguin and Harley Quinn escape with the Nolanverse Batman who offers them protection. However, Oswald doesn't want to return to his own Gotham City empty handed. He betrays Batman and Harley Quinn as he points a gun at them. However, a fully mutated and transformed Joker shoots him and then comes out of the shadows while The Penguin lies injured on the floor. After Batman kills Two-Face with Selina Kyle / The Catwoman's help, The Penguin gets arrested by Jim Gordon, who takes him to the Blackgate Prison.
