The Roaring Titans, also known as just The Titans, are the main antagonists of DELTARUNE, serving as the unseen main antagonists of the entire game.
The Titans are a group of primordial dark beings that lie dormant in the Dark World, and are prophesied to lay waste upon both the Light and Dark Worlds once there are enough Dark Fountains active. When awaken, the Titans will destroy and eventually remake the Light and Dark Worlds in their image and create a world they state will be "perfect" and "prosperous".
Personality[]
The Titans are entities that crave destruction and seek to destroy and cover the world in darkness, aiming to remake it in their image. They possess personalities that are complex, malevolent, and driven by a combination of deep-seated emotions and ideologies. The Titans are driven by an insatiable desire for power and control. Their ambition knows no bounds, and they view destruction as a means to achieve ultimate dominion. They see the current world as flawed and believe that only through annihilation can a new, perfect world be created in their image.
Highly intelligent and strategic, these beings use manipulation and deceit to achieve their goals. They are master tacticians, capable of weaving intricate plans and exploiting the weaknesses of others to further their own ends. Their cunning nature allows them to stay several steps ahead of the Delta Warriors. There is also a perverse pleasure the Titans derive from chaos and destruction. They relish in the suffering of others and find joy in the unraveling of order and peace. This sadistic streak makes them unpredictable and terrifying, as they are motivated not just by goals but by the process of causing pain and despair. They also tend to be solitary figures, isolated by their own nature or by choice. Their detachment from others amplifies their sense of superiority and justifies their destructive actions. They see themselves as above or beyond the moral codes that govern others, reinforcing their resolve to impose their vision upon the world.
The Titans often harbor a deep-seated resentment towards the existing world and its inhabitants. This resentment fuels their desire to tear down everything that stands. They may have experienced betrayal, rejection, or significant loss, which has twisted their outlook, making them believe that the only solution is total eradication, but this has yet to be confirmed, though it is most likely that this is not the case.
The Titan's resolve is unbreakable. No amount of opposition or setbacks can deter them from their path. This relentless determination is both a strength and a weakness, as it drives them forward but can also blind them to the possibility of failure or redemption. They also possess a visionary quality, seeing a world that others cannot. However, this vision is tainted by madness, a skewed perspective that justifies extreme actions. Their belief in their own vision is absolute, and they are willing to sacrifice anything and anyone to bring it to fruition.

The Titans are shadowy, faceless entities composed entirely of darkness, only having a few spots on them that wields light in their pure dark bodies. These light patches on their bodies may be their eyes or a way for them to see everything around them, thus explaining their heightened senses.
