Thrust is a major antagonist of Transformers: Armada fanfic Making a Choice. He is a Decepticon tactician who served as Megatron's top general and military advisor. Eventually, he formed an alliance with Sideways unknown to the Decepticons.
History[]
Thrust arrives to the Autobots base and leaves a signal to get Starscream's attention. Succeeding at this, he lures him to the forest and convinces to listen to him. There Thrust explains to Starscream his idea to bring Megatron the Skyboom Shield in exchange for Megatron's forgiveness. When Starscream questions the reason to do so, he reminds him on power of Hydra Cannon and leaves, giving him time to think about it.
Later, Starscream meets with Thrust again and rejects his offer. Despite this, he tries to convince Starscream to join him, claiming thatthe Autobots won't help him defeat Megatron and using their battle with Tidal Wave as a proof, being very close to this and even making him grab the Skyboom Shield before Optimus Prime could catch it. However, before he could do anything else, the ex-Decepticon notices Alexis' hurt and confused look and realised what he was doing, making him redirect himself to Tidal Wave and use Star Saber Sword and Skyboom Shield to knock him over. Starscream then tries to strike Thrust, he avoids his attack and shoot him at wings, making him let go of the Skyboom Shield and start falling down. Thrust grabs the shield and tries to return to base, but Starscream throws the Star Saber at him, smacking into his arm and making him drop the Shield. Starscream manages to catch both weapons, but crashes down, with Thrust trying to finish him off. However, Optimus interfers and shoots at him, making Thrust retreat.
Thrust makes his next appearance fighting the Autobots with the rest of Decepticons, with Jetfire using the Skyboom Shield to supress fire from him and Cyclonus. Sideways tried to use it to shoot him in the back, but Starscream and Red Alert informed Jetfire to move position, making him dondge and smack Cyclonus down. However, Thrust appears behind the Autobot and shoots him in the back, making him fall down and drop the Shield, allowing Wheeljack to capture it. He then retreats with the other Decepticons.
Later Thrust infiltrates the Autobot's base and turns the power off, then communicates with Starscream and instructs him to go to the ship's bay. He then starts mocking him, making Starscream attack the tactitian. Initially Thrust dodges all of his attacks, but the ex-Decepticon manages to strike his opponent with enough strength to make him stumble to the ground and stabs him in the shoulder with a knife before he could teleport. Angered by this, Thrust keeps attacking, but Starscream uses his wing sword to slice two of his opponent's fingers off. The strategist keeps using his teleportation to confuse the Seeker, but he uses the Star Saber to stab him in the shoulder. Before he could execute Thrust, Sideways interfers and makes Starscream let him go, threatening to kill Alexis otherwise. Seizing the opportunity, Thrust attacks him in the back and picks the Star Saber up. Sideways then orders him to destroy the ship and tries to crush Alexis, but Thrust stops him and offers to instead take her to the Decepticons and use her as a tool. Sideways handles the girl to him and the duo teleports away, but not before he shoots at the ships's thrusters, blowing them up.
After his return to the Decepticon's base, Thrust handles the Star Saber and Alexis to Megatron. When Wheeljack wonders will the Minicons try to rebel, he explains that when they're in the pod, they won't awaken. He then rejects Megatron's idea to bring her in his quarters so that she'll witness her world's demise because she would suffocate, and instead offers to keep her alive until the Decepticons return to Cybertron and present her as a symbol of their victory.
