Tom, is a one-off antagonist in the absurdist comedy VRChat series The Oddball Digital Shenanigans from RobotnikZentric. He specifically appears in the episode JigSaw Highlights of July 26th's Shenanigans of 2025.

Being referred to as a cartoon cat like his source material, this version of Cartoon Cat (now referred to as Tom), is a demonic bogeyman who is also Kaufmo's pet cat, whom is seen enjoying doing his job to scare and haunt people (even murdering people albeit off-screen, but exclaimed his desire for wanting to end all life around him as his last words before he is seen running off on a killing spree).

He is voiced and portrayed by Fazbear.

Bio[]

He is first introduced as a silent threat once Kaufmo saw him slowly approaching Pomni in a forebodding manner, and Kaufmo achknowledged his existence as a cartoon cat but also wanted to high five it. He asked Pomni if he could join the world she and her friends went into (which she said yes to unknowingly), and Kaufmo compliments the way Tom screeches the word yes when Tom is really excited and happy, all before proceeding to strangle him, and once Kaufmo said how great his choking hand was, Tom was completely befuddled that Kaufmo enjoyed it.

Then we see him chasing a lady while Kaufmo commends Tom for chasing after her, outside the house and even popping through her bedroom door to torment her before making his way out, resulting in the lady telling Kaufmo to go "get his cat" (which Kaufmo complied with).

Kaufmo praises and commends Tom for the torture and several murders Tom did, and when Kaufmo mentioned how there was going to be a schedule to save victims for last around 10 'ol clock to further enforce the cruelty to the victims Tom can torment or harm, Tom protests by showing his impatience and exclaimed how everyone needs to die before running off and roaring.

He usually makes screeching roaring sounds, but sometimes speaks fluent English.

Personality[]

He is a bloodthirsty, violent, maniacal, aggressive and sadistic bogeyman who takes his demented passion in tormenting and inflicting pain on everyone around him (even attempted to do so with his own master once but was rather bewildered that it wasn't as effective compared to his actions that he left on his victims around him from at least two victims we see him torment).

He will only pretend to be polite if it means finding an opportunity to torment victims once he gains someone's trust to be given access to entering a world, where he can go and begin his chasing and running after people around him, which is how he gained Pomni's trust and screeched out a yes once his plan has worked. He will also even pretend to seem harmless until he has the urge to choke someone violently when nobody but one person is around, and wants to see his victims suffer.

Although we hardly get many scenes of him on-screen, we see his primal feral enjoyment in tormenting others. From his silent walking imposing predatory glares at Pomni and shifting from suddenly calm to suddenly violent makes a few shifts of his behavior, and he seems to relish in being stalking and chasing others, even if it means getting the personal reward in ending human life all around him.

We don't get to know much about Tom besides his sadistic desire to harm and murder others, and how psychopathic he is, thus making him an enigmatic entity whose existence and everything surrounding him will always remain a mystery.

Villainous Acts[]

He approaches Pomni with the clear intent to scare her.
Due to gaining Pomni's trust to enter a world, once he arrives he uses the opportunity to chase and torment a lady relentlessly.
He strangled his own master Kaufmo, and was more baffled that his owner was happy with being choked.
He has mass murder in his mind, and him asking Pomni if he could join this world that Purple was in, was a opportunity Tom seized to continue scaring and haunting lives of others through chasing and tormenting people like PurpleLady, and to make matters worse, Kaufmo commends the bogeyman for the amount of harm and a directly implied killing spree (and harm) that he possibly has done on multiple people once he saw Tom chasing after a woman and screeching at her.
- When he reminds Tom about the 10 'ol clock shift regarding a specific schedule shift with saving victims for last after making progress of murdering or tormenting several people, this made Tom impatient and said that everyone needed to die, and Kaufmo doesn't seem to mind stopping him from him running off and possibly beginning another killing spree.

Powers and Abilities[]

Intimidation: His towering, multi-armed yet creepy appearance and actions makes him the most threatening and scary antagonist in the entire saga, which is shown when he chased after a lady and even intimidated Pomni.
Speed: He can run really fast if he so chooses to chase his victims.
