Twilight Acorna Sparkle is one of the main characters of Friendship is Witchcraft, a parody of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
She is a parody of that series' incarnation of Twilight Sparkle who is an ADD-addled, narcissistic sociopath who has aspirations of royalty.
She was voiced by Jenny Nicholson.
Appearance[]
Since the show reuses footage from the original series, this Twilight looks exactly the same as the original Twilight Sparkle in Friendship is Magic.
During the flashback in Episode 8's song sequence, the artstyle changes and depicts a more deranged looking Twilight with exaggerated features in her design.

Twilight is a narcissistic, self-absorbed, scatterbrained, Japanophilic, spoiled, sociopath who is unconcerned with anyone but herself. In the very first episode, we witness a memory Twilight has of an earlier scene; only in her version of events, Twilight is brilliant and considerate and Spike is lazy and an idiot.
She likes to think of herself as being a princess herself, believing that she will be made one if she can prove herself to Princess Celestia.
She also wants to marry her own adopted brother Francis Sparkle even to the point of stalking him and watching him sleep, making her love for him obsessive and immoraly incestous. Her depravity is also shown when she forces Applejack and Rarity to act out her Yuri fanfiction.
As a foal, she was also rather loony, but when her brother (i.e. the focus of her obsession) left home, she threw herself into studying magic in a bid to control everyone around her. It is confirmed that she has murdered two other students to beat her "competition".
Biography[]
From an early age, she has been Celestia's pupil, and while the Princess has clearly grown weary of her, Twilight has not. Her friendship reports tend to contain very mundane observations, not specific morals and friendship experiences as in the original Friendship is Magic show.
In Episode 2, "Read it and Sleep", she becomes a devotee to Lord Smooze so she can fit in better. But despite the fact that she and Luna have much in common - they are both socially awkward, like obscure Japanese media, and are obsessed with fan fiction, shipping and "OCs" -, Twilight is quick to exploit Luna's misreading of why her subjects are avoiding her in "Lunar Slander" so she can further her own goal of essentially replacing Luna as the Princess at Celestia's side. In the same episode her social interaction with the ponies is slightly better, since the rest of the Mane 6 seem to greet her normally.
As of Episode 8, "Foaly Matripony", she is married to her adoptive brother, "Francis Sparkle"/Sninimg Armor, having him under the effects of a mind control spell, after locking Shining Armor's (former) fiancé Princess Cadence Notevil Goodpony in a cave and killing her.
Powers and Abilities[]
Just like the original Twilight Sparkle, she boasts powerful magic that allows her to mind control others and can even move the Moon and alter reality to an extent.

Trivia[]
- She is an avid fanfic writer, and that includes writing "fan fiction" - essentially romans à clef - about real ponies. Mentioned subjects have been Applejack, Rarity, and Discord. She even wrote an entire 70-chapter shipfic about "Applesack" and "Charity".
- She has attempted to make waffles in a bouncy house before, which would've worked if not for Spike's weak grip. An unknown incident involving it lead to Celestia forbidding Twilight Sparkle from ever entering a bouncy house again.
