Twilight Sparkle is the main protagonist of the UrbanQhoul music video "Princess" based on the song by PrinceWhateverer, MelodyBrony, and 4EverfreeBrony. She is the unstable student of Princess Celestia who, out of hatred for being in the presence of other ponies, went on an arsonist and murderous rampage through Ponyville before being locked in Canterlot Secure Asylum.
She is voiced by PrinceWhateverer.
Personality[]
This version of Twilight Sparkle, is an antisocial recluse who really hates meeting ponies and making friends. She seems to believe that friends will eventually abandon her and thus sees no point. She resents the fact that Celestia made her move to Ponyville because it means she will have to interact with other ponies. She gives fake nervous smiles to ponies she meets but secretly loathes them. She believes that her friends, the Mane Six, secretly whisper about her being a spy. She hates when ponies come to her home. She doesn't treat her friends well, as evidenced by Pinkie Pie saying "you should have been a better friend". She believes that the ponies in Ponyville need to die and takes delight in committing arson and murder to them, yet blames the other Mane Six ponies for pushing her until she snapped.
Twilight writes letters to Princess Celestia detailing her antisocial hatred and desire to see the ponies around her die, and makes Spike send them to her. Twilight is devoted to Princess Celestia and cries when Celestia confronts her, seemingly fearing Celestia and/or guilt from disappointing her.
She seems to respect her assistant Spike, never saying anything negative about him in the song, oblivious to Spike being disturbed witnessing what she is doing.
She loses her mind over the course of the animatic, to the point where she eventually doesn't do anything except talk to imaginary ponies about friendship, relive what she did, and write letters to Celestia which she can not send.
Biography[]
Twilight Sparkle grew up as Princess Celestia's apprentice. Twilight claims that Celestia "sung [her] softly to sleep". If true, this indicates Celestia being a motherly figure to her as well.
Previously a recluse in Canterlot, Princess Celestia sent Twilight to Ponyville to make friends, an action which Twilight resented. She met the other members of the Mane Six, and seemingly defeated Nightmare Moon alongside them. Twilight grew paranoid of what they might have been saying about her, deluding herself into thinking she heard them whisper about her. She wrote letters to Celestia detailing her inner thoughts.
Twilight became enraged when Pinkie Pie brought Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops to her tree home. Shortly afterward, she finally took out her anger by burning down Ponyville and murdering many of its citizens, all while Spike rode on her back. As her home caught fire, she screamed in anguish.
Princess Celestia saw the disturbing letters Twilight sent to her and confronted her in person. Twilight broke down in tears. Celestia's guards arrested her as she tried to resist arrest. Twilight was sent to a mental asylum in Canterlot, where she spent her time reliving what happened and writing letters about it to Celestia.
