Unicron is one of the two titular villainous protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE episode, "Galactus VS Unicron". He is a colossal and godly Transformer and the bringer of chaos. He is Galactus' arch nemesis.

He was voiced by Brent Mukai, who also voiced Geese Howard.

Personality

Unlike Galactus, who only consumes planets and destroys because he needs to, Unicron takes pleasure in creating chaos and destruction wherever he goes. Unicron has a sense of confidence, such as when he possessed the Ultimate Nullifier to attempt control of it, leading to him claiming his early victory before his downfall.

History

Unicron arrives to Earth to devour it right as Galactus arrives to do the same. Galactus does not approve of Unicron's presence, but Unicron tells him to leave as he starts eating Earth for himself. Galactus shoots Unicron away with energy, leading the planet Transformer to become his robot mode. The two godly colossals do battle, involving shooting energy, throwing planets, and weaponizing stars and black holes. Both combatants even get bisected by each other, but quickly regenerate. In Unicron's case, his Spark absorbs the galaxy they float in, creating a new and towering body. Galactus responds by growing equally in size, proudly claiming that their battle will destroy the universe. But starting to lose his patience, Galactus pulls out his Ultimate Nullifier, which Unicron's Spark flies into, using it to destroy the universe and presumably Galactus. Now reforming from the Nullifier, Unicron declares his victory until Galactus reveals himself, this time him towering over Unicron as he absorbs the bringer of chaos, body and Spark, ending the chaotic evil Transformer for good.
