Unicron is the one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Crimson King) of Rainbow Dash Fanfic Universe. Known as the Chaos Bringer and Planet Eater, Unicron was one of the two oldest Transformers in existence, alongside Primus, who he sought to destroy, alongside Earth, Cybertron and spread chaos throughout the entire universe.

He serves as the titular main antagonist of Unicron arc, the posthumous antagonist of Dark Tower arc and the Shattered arc. His alternate counterparts serve as a minor characters in Multiverse arc.
In Unicron arc, he serves as the main antagonist of Rainbow Dash: Future, the titular main antagonist of Rainbow Dash: Wrath Of Unicron, the overarching antagonist of Rainbow Dash: Titans Uprising, Rainbow Dash: Attack On Predacons and Rainbow Dash: The Mistress Of Flame and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Nemesis Prime) of Rainbow Dash: The Kingdom.

War with Primus[]
When the universe began to form, the only living beings (at least in their part of space) were two siblings called Primus and Unicron on the uninhabited planet Cybertron. Legends say that Unicron was the embodiment of destruction and Primus the embodiment of creation, but this is not the case; they were both actually two halves of an omnipotent being. As both Primus and Unicron developed their own views and feelings towards the universe, Primus saw that all life created on viewpoint should be deserved to be treated as equal to his own existence, thus becoming associated with creation. However, Unicron despised all life in the universe as he found them to be pointless and beneath himself and dedicated his entire existence to wiping out countless worlds for his own amusement, thus becoming associated with destruction. Upon seeing the havoc that Unicron has brought, a furious Primus battled against Unicron for the fate of the universe with neither getting an advantage for long. According to Optimus, the tide was turned more times than it could be counted. Eventually, Primus created the original Cybertronians (known as the Thirteen Primes) to fight with him. With these additional warriors, Unicron was defeated and cast out into deep space.
While Primus sacrificed his life by merging into Cybertron's core to give life to more Cybertronians, Unicron drifted, and in slumber, space debris began gathering around him due to his gravity field. Eventually, he was caught in the third orbit of a sun and became the very core of the planet Earth in the Milky Way galaxy. Through Unicron's time adrift in space, he bled Dark Energon, which itself went adrift. The Covenant of Primus unveils a prophecy that foretold Unicron's awakening on Earth, though the details failed to mention that it was actually referring to Unicron and Earth. On Cybertron, stories were told of Unicron's defeat, and he became a feared figure. But over time, as society marched forward, the Cybertronian people dismissed the Chaos Bringer as nothing more than a legend.
