In death, you shall find light.
~ Unicron before he almost destroys the knights and Primus
Join me, I can give you all you can desire..
~ Megatron tempting Optimus to join him

Unicron is the overarching antagonist of the TFI Creations YouTube series, debuting as the main antagonist of Transformers: Finest Hour.

He is the dark god of the transformers, and the bringer of chaos. It is his lifelong goal to destroy and consume worlds, bringing balance to the universe in his own twisted vision. He is voiced by Rambling Rob.

Personality[]

Much like the many incarnations of Unicron, this version is a purely malevolent being that only wishes to bring about the destruction of the universe. He believes himself to be above all life forms, and wishes to extinguish every being in the universe. However, he is willing to make deals with mortals, and place them under his servitude as his heralds.

History[]

Some time before the formation of Earth, Unicron was created, and sets on a long journey of consuming the entire universe. The Creators were made aware of his existence, and created twelve knights and Quintessa with the Allspark to face off against Unicron. The living planet transformed into a gigantic robot and set his sights on the creator’s home world, Primus. Quintessa aided the knights in battle to shut down Unicron, and were successful. Unicorn’s deactivated body would transform back into his planet mode. He would eventually orbit the Sun within the solar system, and his body would be covered with dirt and soil, and eventually formed earth. The creators would go to earth and construct more cybertronians to protect the Allspark. Before the knights left Primus, they sent the Allspark into space, and it crash landed on a planet, causing the creation of Cybertron and the seven primes, including Megatronus.

Throughout Earth’s history, Unicron’s horns began growing out of the planet’s surface as a result of Quintessa's actions of attempting to kill him which resulted in awakening him, a warning sign for his eventual return. In 2023, some of his parasites began to crawl out of his body and to earth’s surface. After battling these parasites, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Hot Rod decide to journey deep into Unicron’s body and destroy his spark before he could fully revive himself. Once they retrieved a space bridge pillar, they ventured into his body, and encountered a swarm of parasites that defended his body from intruders. Optimus and Megatron transforms and drives through Unicron’s body to locate his Spark. Once he finds it, Unicron tempts Optimus to join him. But when he refuses his temptation and pulls out the Matrix of Leadership, Unicron summons lightning to shoot off his hand, and electrocutes Optimus. Megatron then takes the matrix, fuses its energy with Prime’s sword, and plunges it directly into his spark, finally killing the chaos bringer. Unicron’s death completely halts the awakening, saving the earth from Armageddon once again.

Trivia[]

  • Since multiversal singularities do exist in this series, it is possible that Unicron is also one since he was once a singularity in official Transformers media before the writers dropped the idea altogether.
  • Because his existence was a threat to the Allspark’s existence, he was unintentionally responsible for the creation of the seven primes. Most notably Megatronus since he would become a multiversal singularity after betraying his brothers. In short, Unicron is indirectly responsible for the creation of the Fallen.
  • The line “Join me, I can give you all you can desire..” is similar to Unicron's line in the 2023 Transformers film: Rise of the Beasts. Samuel Jay Flatline, the director, was told that this line was not in later versions of the film, so he placed it within the script as a tribute. Suprisingly, it still made it into the final version of the film.
  • Unicron was portrayed by the following figures:
    • Planet mode: Unicron (Supreme Class 2004)
    • Robot mode: Nightmare Unicron
