Hello, hello, hello. This is CashLannister of the House Lannister, and to be honest, I wasn't really sure whether or not Damian deserved to be proposed or not. Especially considering how light-hearted the YouTube series he came from is. But he's also a surprisingly effective villain, so why not propose him?

What is the work?[]

SpongeBob in Real Life is a comedy series on YouTube by JChaseFilms, where SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star find a teleportation device that takes them to the real world. SpongeBob and Patrick meet the YouTubers and after going on some adventures, they all become friends. In episodes 4, 5, and 6, the plot is mostly centered around SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and the human characters trying to stop the main antagonist, Damian Cooper, from using a machine to destroy all cartoons and then take over the Multiverse.

Who is Damian?[]

Damian Cooper is a man of wealth and taste, he's a 20 year old billionaire and the CEO of the Sugar Rush Candy Company. Damian is a pretty cocky and power-hungry guy, as well as opportunistic. Case in point, once Plankton shows up and offers him a deal, Damian is interested.

What does he do?[]

Damian and Plankton start working on a machine that can open portals to other universes, including cartoon ones. Plankton, the lovable little cycloptic megalomaniac he is, wants to conquer all cartoon universes, while Damian straight up wants to destroy all of them. Once the machine's made, Damian says that Plankton is of no further use to him, and has him locked away in a bird cage, and then Damian presses a lever on the machine that erases cartoon characters from existence. Squidward actually gets erased, as do thousands of other cartoon characters from universes that parody South Park, Rick and Morty, The Amazing World of Gumball, and so on and so forth. Damian confirmed that he murdered at least 20% of all life in the Multiverse, and he gives an ultimatum to everyone: accept him as their supreme ruler, otherwise they'll all die, cartoons and humans alike. Towards the end of the film, Damian pulls a lever to destroy the rest of the cartoon universes, killing Patrick in the process. Fortunately, SpongeBob is able to press the reset button, undoing all of Damian's actions and bringing back everyone who was erased, and by the end of the movie, Damian was arrested for endangering the Multiverse.

Heinous standards?[]

SpongeBob In Real Life is a pretty light-hearted series, just like the original show, and so the villains aren't really meant to be that scary or cruel. And even though Plankton in this fan film still wants to conquer all cartoon universes, even he's horrified by Damian's plan, to the point where he helps SpongeBob defeat Damian. And even though these characters like Patrick and Squidward being erased from existence is a nod to Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War, Damian's crimes are still taken seriously, and he's treated as a serious threat, even by the human characters. It's easy to see why, he wanted to conquer the Multiverse, and had no qualms over destroying every single cartoon universe there is, committing omnicide on a massive scale. And I think that some of the characters who were parodying South Park got erased too, which means Damian has no qualms over killing kids. Furthermore, both Squidward and Patrick's deaths were treated seriously and weren't played for laughs at all. All in all, Damian is a great example of a Game Changer.

Mitigating factors?[]

To be fair, Damian had a difficult childhood. When he was a little kid, he loved watching cartoons, but his dad, Vernon, forced him to stop watching cartoons and start acting like an adult, making him read economic and business books. He encouraged Damian to only value money and power, and while Damian is thinking about that lesson his dad gave him, I guess it's portrayed sympathetically. Damian also seems to love and miss his dad. But then again, the guy is trying to wipe out a huge chunk of the Multiverse, and in my opinion, no tragedy can excuse that. I mean, some of the most evil Complete Monsters and Pure Evils have tragic backstories, and their tragedies don't excuse their evilness either. I think that applies to Damian, too.

Conclusion[]

In my opinion, Damian could very well be a Complete Monster. He wants to destroy several universes out of bigotry, killing countless people, and had no problem with threatening to kill normal humans if they didn't kowtow to him, and his plan is so terrible that even Plankton was disgusted. What do you guys think, though? Thank you for reading, a Lannister Always Pays His Debts.
