Watts up Villains Fanon Wiki. Welcome to my seventh proposal and second candidate. So, this is a character I've been anticipating in proposing to the Silly Complete Monster status. I only did the Black Hiver first because I knew somebody else was going to do it, But I just can't let them, don't they? Anyways, here's the first FnF character being proposed through the silly system of the Villains Fanon Wiki. Anyways, let the trial commence!
What's the Work?[]
Vs. Dave and Bambi is a mod for Friday Night Funkin'. It revolves around Boyfriend and Girlfriend who encounter Dave and rap battle him and later they encounter Bambi which they then become good friends. We aren't talking about the main story however.
Who is He? What Has He Done?[]
Expunged is the overarching antagonist of the mod.
He is a 3D being that is responsible for Dave gaining 3D powers due to him extracting them from him. Expunged is also one of a bad person, given they continuously torture people all because they cheated in a simple Frida Night Funkin' mod by pressing 7 allowing access for botplay.
One time, Boyfriend and Girlfriend encounter Expunged for about 3 times. One time it isn't that bad given they just rap battle but with mechanics. Kind of the same with another, with even more harder mechanics. The last one is the worst though. He ends up taking over the whole mod and even escapes the screen at some point while rapping, until he then disappears.
Is He Heinous Enough?[]
I'd say he is. He is a serial torturer that likes torturing people to death for fun, which he does have a pattern given he does the same thing to the mod's player and even outright says "[they] won't survive" when he does it, so I think that's enough proof. Helps he exists in a vacuum (Dave harms people with his 3D powers but he has no control over them and wishes to not harm people for good reason).
Non-Preventions?[]
From the songs alone, he doesn't seem to have any characterization. However, there are some scattered things providing characterization such as the terminal, bottom left of his songs, WoG, and more. Expunged is overall characterized as a power-hungry individual that likes keeping the concept of fairness and honesty by torturing the lives of cheaters while also scaring them in a statement and even tells them "fuck you" in the bottom left of the screen in "Cheating" and its debug menu. He also shows hunger for power given the terminal when he gets admin has quotes about him gaining full power and taking everything over, and in the terminal, he's shown disliking Dave for taking the power he could've had and calling the action a tragic backstory (this isn't one btw, story does not give this sympathy and really this actually only seems to prevent him from doing more evil). There's some more personality in this, but this should be enough.
While he does torture people that try to cheat in the game which is part of said concept of fairness and honesty, not only is cheating in a game a rather small act that isn't considered heinous even and also he isn't portrayed in the right of course, but he's morely obsessed in simply keeping this concept and doesn't really have good intention as there's only him being aggressive with the player that shows this. He himself also cheats such as what he does in his songs of making the notes move around a lot, having them at different respective scroll speeds, and even breaking out of the screen.
While he seems to have a rather positive relationship with Blade as seen in the terminal, viewing it as powerful and scolding anyone disrespecting its name, it seems he is only seeing it as nothing more than an extension of himself given any and all attributes Blade has comes from Expunged including its name and really nothing else proves otherwise.
Lastly, while there are some artworks by Rapparep that show him as insecure, having one of them say "Whats [his] purpose!", they are nothing more than joke arts not meant to be part of the canon. Even then, they don't give him any sympathy.
Is He Silly Enough?[]
It's Dave and Bambi, of course he is. He is literally a 3D eldritch entity who tortures people over cheating in FnF mods by pressing 7 which allows the player to access the debug menu in order to gain capabilities of making the game easier, not to mention his stupidly hard mechanics which are clearly not meant to show that this is a serious character. He is indeed definitely silly enough for the trope.
