So hi guys. This is my third Complete Monster proposal and this time it's about William Stryker aka Annihilus from the MFU. He serves as the central antagonist of Dawn of The Mutants and later as a secondary antagonist of Avengers: In The Darkest Hours. He started off as an obsessed general of the US military who plotted to end the mutant kind. However, after he was killed and his plans were thrawted by Charles Xavier, he betrayed the human kind for Thanos, whom revived him as a monstrous orc named Annihilus.
What's the work?[]
This segment of the Marvel Fanfilm Universe is about the mutant kind surviving among Stryker's threats and Nimrod's destruction. Among the mutants, the film's protagonist (Psylcoke) falls in love with Sabertooth and the two fight the enemies together in order to protect all mutants from genocide.
Who is the villain?[]
William Stryker is a ruthless, vengeful, genocidal and ambitious field commander of the US military who secretly hired terrorist mercenaries to assist him against the mutants. One of his notable henchmen were Doctor Doom/Jay Banner, who personally injected the mutants with a serum which could spread also in nearby other mutant genes. Stryker was the very reason the mutants had to struggle for their survival.
Being one of the MFU's most ruthless and evil villains (if not the worst), he was eventually killed by Xavier, who had enough of his terror. However, as Thanos revived him as a monster named Annihilus, he vowed to survive by destroying the universe for him rather than be killed on the spot.
What did he do?[]
He was the ultimate destroyer of the mutants, as he ordered his lietuants to kill the mutants in many different ways. He experimented his serum on one of the mutants and thereafter many more nearby mutant were killed by the effects of the serum. Stryker would do anything to get rid of the mutant kind and have his revenge on the world. He did not care how many lives he killed on the way. Furthermore, Stryker also ordered Jay to obliterate a large mutant base, thus causing thousands of mutants to die painfully. He also used a mutant spy for his deeds, as Victor Creed, aka Sabertooth, was secretly working for him. However, Victor betrayed him since he was a total monster who wanted nothing more than genocide and blood on the mutant heads. Stryker was known for brutally torturing and mutilating the mutants, even if they were children. Infact, because he was such a monster, Jason was taken in by Nick Fury, who became his guardian for a certain time. Stryker also created The Sentinels and their leader Nimrod. He did so in order to kill all mutants, careless of the fact that The Sentinels were bugged up by Magneto and therefore they weren't operating under his control. After his revival, as Annihilus, he was proven to be even more dangerous and utlimately evil and egoistic. He was prepared to betray human kind for survival and obliterate the entire universe as Thanos' general.
Heinous Standards[]
Stryker never had empathy and his willingness to betray the universe and the human kind were out of selfishness and ego, since he only cared about his own survival. Even before his revival/transormation to a monster, William Stryker only cared about his own revenge on the mutant kind and he did not care how many people he had to kill on his journey. He is a monstrous sociopath who would commit atrocities and worldwide crimes as part of his revenge. He also seemed to enjoy hurting others, as he always did his revenge business with pleasure, hoping that he would win the war. He has zero empaphy or remorse, and no morals at all.
Final Verdict[]
It's up to you guys, but I definetly think he must qualify. Stryker is a sociopathic monster who cares about nothing but his own agenda and is willing to sacrifice the world for his own satisfaction. Surely a CM.
