"He may be Overhaul, but he's not entirely evil as him"
Today's Topic is Dr. Vulture, so this time we're discussing about his standards and his story to declare that in some terms he is not entirely evil as he was. Sure but the second reason was that i might be afraid some new users will mistake him as a truly complete monster.
So without a doubt, let's see his studied information.
What's the Work?[]
The Webcomic Series from Youtube, Dr. Vulture, is a inspiration to Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia. The series is about a young adult at his early 20's on a life of crime with his gang, out to commit crimes and break the law in order to commence its eradication and make the world better.
Despite being an inspiration of Overhaul, Hiryu Chisaragi is less evil and a lot more sympathetic than that irredeemable b*stard.
Why he does not qualify as a CM?[]
Hiryu might have committed two serious crimes such as Murder and Drug Dealing, but the biggest crime he committed the most out of them was rape.
But despite his crimes, He is NOT evil entirely by choice.
He was very, very remorseful after the rape he committed on the six girls he kidnapped, this proves he went too far, knowing that his own mother, Komiya Kusuguri, never wanted her son to become a complete monster.
Not only did he show remorse but broke down crying and panicking from it.
Afterwards he immediately apologizes to Akiko, Tsuko, Felicia, Seiyami, Chloe, and Keisuna for raping them, as he cries uncontrollably, not maintaining on how strong his emotions felt. But the girls forgive him under a condition of the consequence: his punishment would be to marry them and take responsibility for their biological children.
But if you think that's surprising, he actually keeps his promises. He finally married the girls he raped but also fell in love with them after months ago.
He also seems to care about children, a lot!. And those examples happened when he played around with his biological infants while he took his adoptive children out to the park. When he first met Tobusagi, Reiko, and Ameli, he knew they were unloved and neglected by their horrible parents (with exception of Tobusagi's parents died unknowingly), so he decided to them his kids and raised them while helping their childhood to be nostalgic as it can like his.
He also still cares about his wives, one by one, he loved them with all of his heart, despite that he can have sex with them occasionally due to his lustful desires. But he doesn't see them as a toy for sexual desires, instead thought of them as a real person.
But the most important people Hiryu completely cared for was his adoptive mother, Komiya Kusuguri, and his dead parents. He chose to commit crime in order to fulfill Komiya's lifelong ambition of making the world better without law and evil, which is understandably reasonable. Hiryu and Komiya's bond was quite unique and a heartwarming one since Komiya really cares for Hiryu so much, he decided to pay her back by fulfilling what she start. He would often call her "mommy", which had a deeper meaning of what made Hiryu's relationship with Komiya understanding it could make us cry.
But even with his real parents dead, Hiryu still cares about them. Even if he remembers them, they'll always be in his heart.
Even if he still continues on with his crimes, he would use that opportunity to provide for his family's well-being and needs.
Final Verdict[]
Hiryu is not like Overhaul from My Hero Academia. He still has some redeeming and sympathetic features that made us understand what Hiryu had to go through andhis intentions were very good and relatable to other villains such as Sandman from Spider-Man 3 and Walter White from Breaking Bad. Hiryu is not a monster nor an demon with an evil heart.
He's a human, just like us, trying his best to protect the people he cared for and cotinue loving them as long as he lives.
So in words, its Cut. But remember, just because he became a criminal, it does not mean he has a good reason to become one.
