Focus on the rjght

I will close my eyes and just dance

Every monster in my path will know darkness
And I will tread Genocide Route with my knife in my hands
And the dust on the ground
And the determination

~ Talk about a maniac.

Welp, here am I, bringing my second proposal for a villain to be Pure Evil. If this be approved, will be the second version of Frisk to be Pure Evil. So relax where you are, grab a snack and, you know the drill... let the trial commence!

What’s the work?[]

The "Undertale Drop" is a set of Brazilian Undertale songs, released in 2024. The storyline is the same as the original game, with a child named Frisk falling into the Underground, where monsters live, and being able to follow three paths: Neutral, Pacifist or Genocide.

Who’s the candidate? What do they done?[]

Frisk is the protagonist of the songs. They are a child who falls into the Underground for unknown reasons. Having so many paths to follow, they help the monsters, but are forced to face Omega Flowey. Afterwards, on Flowey's advice, they follow the Pacifist Route and save everyone. However, that's when they decide to follow the Genocide Route.

They become determined to wipe out everything that lives in the monster world, making sure that no one remains in the Ruins except Toriel. In fact, they goe so far as to kill Toriel herself, who welcomed them as a mother, and all they said was "Then get out of my way." Cruel.

So the killer proceeds through Snowdin, where they also kill everyone, and ignore the puzzles that Papyrus and his brother Sans put in their way. Papyrus notices something wrong with the child, but offers his forgiveness and friendship to them. The answer? You know. Frisk simply cuts the poor guy's head off.

When they pass through Waterfall, it's the same thing. No monster is left alive to tell the tale. They even tried to kill Monster Kid, who was fortunately protected by Undyne. She then, to protect everyone from Frisk, becomes Undyne The Undying, fighting bravely, but in the end in vain, against the genocidal, who kills the heroine.

They then head to Hotland, where they only increase their body count. At the end of Core, they also kill Mettaton, who tried to protect the survivors and humanity from the child.

Until we get to New Home, where they decide to kill Flowey, too. That is, of course, not before killing Sans and dealing a fatal blow to Asgore.

Chara then awakens, thanks Frisk for waking them up, destroys the world, and demands Frisk's SOUL in exchange for restoring the world. W.D Gaster appears and is implied to have taken Frisk to study them.

Heinous Standards[]

Frisk not only passes, but easily defines them. Their only competition is Asgore, who caused the deaths of six humans; Undyne, who hunted Frisk throughout the Waterfall; Muffet, who tried to kill them for food; and Flowey, who tried to destroy the world and reset it. Even so, Frisk stands out even more than all of them for having committed genocide against the entire Underground, killing everyone who stood in their way and even Papyrus, who did nothing against them.

Even though Chara destroyed the world, Frisk allowed it. Frisk easily passes the Heinous Standard for having the highest body count out of all the villains and antagonists.

Mitigating factors[]

Okay, there are only two things that could compromise Frisk's status: Their heroism and moral agency. But I'll counter both of them.

While they were heroic in the Pacifist Route, they subverted this. They show no care for their old friends and even mock their deaths. Even though they wished to return to the world after it was destroyed, there is no indication that it was out of care for it, and may have simply been to kill more. In fact, when Gaster says that they destroyed the routes, they respond with "But I want more", referring to the L.O.V.E., showing that they only want to kill and nothing more, and that all their heroism has been thrown out the window.

Second: Moral Agency. Although their solo song carries Frisk and Chara's names together, Chara only appears at the end of the Genocide Route song, and says that Frisk's actions have awakened them. Although it seems that Frisk was influenced to kill, as they state that something is telling them to choose the knife and that they can't control themselves, this is too vague, as it's not clear whether "not being able to control themselves" is not being able to control their body or their bloodlust, and it's never clear whether it's Chara controlling them. Actually, both Frisk and Sans tell that it was Frisk's choice follow genocide (Juu Rafaela's Genocide Route Song and Hawky's Sans Song). Not only that, but they also always claim to enjoy killing and mock their old friends. In fact, the further the song progresses, the less they try to justify themselves, and when killing Papyrus, they say: "Between good and evil, Friendship and ruin, I made my choices with no turning back" and also "You are the one who made me realize That I am a monster, and I like it so much". In New Home, they also assure that they want all of this, stating that they could stop the killing, but they simply don't want to.

While losing their SOUL to Chara is a grim fate, it is not portrayed with any sympathy, and is actually well deserved for everything they have done against the monsters.

Final Veredit[]

So let's see: They easily stand out for their genocide; unlike the game, they have a clear characterization; they claim to enjoy killing and that they chose it; they feel no remorse whatsoever and have rejected redemption outright. Yeah, they seem to qualify for me. But what do you think?
