Valery Nikolaevich Yemelyanov also simply called Valery Yemelyanov, is a character appearing in the Hearts of Iron IV mod The New Order: Last Days of Europe. He is the High Priest of Hyperborea and the former Security Minister for the Aryan Brotherhood, he is also referred to as High Priest Velimir during the unification and Zigfrid Shultz when he is Security Minister for the Aryan Brotherhood. He is a major antagonist in the Aryan Brotherhood and can go on to become a Villainous Protagonist if the player choses his route after the Aryan Brotherhood reunifies Western Russia.

Biography[]
Peering inside the thoughts of Valery Nikolaevich Yemelyanov, one would see visions of a glorious past where Aryans ruled the forests and steppes of the Hyperborean Rus. But the Jew and his Asiatic minions took their land through diabolical machinations, their heritage through Christian indoctrination, and their past through historical revision. For centuries, the Aryans' Slavic descendants wandered blindly through the darkness. But eventually, there were those who rediscovered the lost truths. They understood what had been taken from them and what must be done to guide their race back into the light and reclaim their birthright of blood! But Yemelyanov knew he could never survive on his own. He found an ally in Gutrum Vagner, a lunatic who possessed a sliver of truth buried beneath a heap of delusion. Vagner believed that not only were the German mongrels Aryans, but also Aryanism was a mental state one could achieve if they believed hard enough! Idiotic though he was, he created a fertile ground for the truth to take root. So Yemelyanov bided his time, cloaked in the name and uniform of a racial inferior, until he and his many followers reached the time to strike. Vagner and his band of madmen are now dead, and their blood shall purge their taint from the soil. Taking the title of High Priest Velimir, Yemelyanov has pledged to lead the Aryans in the reconquest of their ancestral homelands. And when all of the Hyperborean Rus has been united beneath the symbol of the holy swastika, Svarog will smile upon His people and His priest! (In game Bio)

Valery Yemelyanov can be found working for the Aryan Brotherhood 2 weeks after game start when you chose to play as Vagner and is available to become the new Security Minister of the Aryan Brotherhood. By player choice you can give him promotions to him. You simply do a standard Aryan Brotherhood conquest of Western Russia and you can choose to play as him by choosing all the focuses that favors him. Once you are done, there will be an event showing that he has manipulated the guards of Vagner and the whole government to be loyal to his neopagan beliefs and confronts Vagner. Vagner threatens to kill him if he doesn't get out of his room due to the fact he has no appointment with him and then he slits his throat with a dagger and now proclaiming himself the new High Priest of Hyperborea.
He uses reforms that any slave that is willing to become a Slavic Pagan is a true Aryan and becomes free and only make "Degenerate" Slavs as slaves meaning people who still have Orthodox Christian or Marxist beliefs
He goes on kill every contender in Russia and sacrificing them to Perun since he cannot reunify with anybody and when he is done, he draws up plans to conquer places that are deemed as "ancient Slavic Homelands" and another war with Germany to show who is more Aryan.
Personality[]
He is no better than Vagner, he is a Oppressive, Delusional, Genocidal, Murdering, Cocky, Arrogant, Tyrannical Psychopath who doesn't care about his own people and use them as Suicide Armies to realize his delusional conquest plans to take back "Ancient Slavic Homelands". He is also notorious for not taking criticism since he shoot one of his own generals via event just for saying his conquest plans are really stupid. He also has NO redeeming qualities since the only thing he changes is Russian Slavic Neopaganism than Nazi Worshipping which enslaves still 99% of the population since most of them don't want to convert from Orthodox Christianity of Marxism to a long dead religion. This in turn makes him a complete psychopath that makes moves which the player considers him irredeemable like Vagner.
He is shown to be cowardly as well if he gets defeated by someone else and only spits and calls the victors bunch of Anti Semitic Slurs.

- What's interesting about Velimir is that he is one of the two warlords the other being Vladimir Artsezo that his beliefs and actions (minus the human sacrificing and alien believing part) are close to their IRL counterpart because he was an Extreme Anti Semitic, Anti Christian Slavic Neopagan that believed that Nazism was a lie and Germans are Asiatic Vermin and Palestine was ancient Slavic Homeland.
- The Flag that Sergey Taboritsky uses is a symbol of the far right political party Pamyat that he founded IRL but he left the group after they refused to incorporate his Slavic Neopagan beliefs into it since it was a Orthodox Christian Fundamentalist party and believed his ideas were nonsense so he left and made a splinter group that was Pro Slavic NeoPagan
