Veldathius Author, is an original character created by ArisHimself, and typically shortened to simply Veldathius or Author, is the Emperor of Shamayim Empire and a legendary historic figure. He uniquely serves as the main deuteragonist and a supporting antagonist of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: the Demon Lord Arrives simultaneously due to his plans always some how and some way ending up in the way of Rimuru's plans
He is also a Powerful Demon Lord , who serves currently as the judge and protector of the TenSura Universe. He is also referred to as the Inter-Universal King for his victories over multiple Kingdoms during the first days of the Great War.

Appearances[]
Veldathius has black, short hair that goes up to his ears. He has slit pupils and fangs, characteristic features of daemons. He wears what appears to be a customized single-breasted cassock with buttons that goes up to a turtleneck. He also wears black gloves and what seems to be a large, raggedy cloak that cuts off in different sections, spreading across the floor. A snake that comes out from under his cloak can be seen at his side. Veldathius can also occasionally be seen donning dragon-like wings.
Personality[]
Veldathius is the man feared as the Demon Lord of Tyranny. Veldathius is an eccentric, childish, collected, resolute, stalwart, and invincible person by nature. His absolute power instills a veritable self-confidence that is only surpassed by his ego. Because of his overwhelming prowess, Veldathius possesses an easygoing attitude and an unrivaled sense of perseverance when facing any challenge that may come his way but this shouldn't be mistaken for arrogance, immaturity and naivety. Underneath the surface, Veldathius is constantly analyzing, planning, and weighing the pros and cons of their actions, taking the smart move in the long term over more rash and emotional decisions.
Veldathius also takes a great deal of care with their personal image, lying on official accounts, erasing memories, and creating forged historical documents to make them appear as a more kind and benevolent person than he is in reality. Despite Veldathius’ often selfish and nefarious tendencies and being called the Demon Lord of Tyranny, He does have a definitive moral compass and generally has a kind and caring outlook. He takes a great interest in the well-being of his family, friends, and followers and is quick to reward them for their loyalty. He is willing to go to great lengths to help their development and reach their full potential. Other people may see him as cruel, but his personal creed is not to kill people needlessly.
While Veldathius is not inherently evil, his chaotic and sometimes ruthless methods when dealing with his enemies, earned him his title. He never actually proclaimed himself the Demon Lord of Tyranny, but he openly embraced it since the rest of the world viewed him as such. Those who oppose him are terrified of his power and are shocked that a single man could possess such unfathomable power.
