Victor Zsasz, also known as The Ghoul, is one of the secondary antagonists of the the fanedited fourth season of the TV series Gotham, acting as the central antagonist of it's first quarter. He is Oswald Cobblepot's former henchmen and hitman, who later wanted to become the new King of Gotham.
History[]
At first Zsasz informs Penguin of Winslow Schott's escape from prison. He later assists Penguin against Talia al Ghul, who later offers to assist Oswald and Zsasz. Zsasz starts an affair with Talia, however, he develops an ambition to overthrow The Penguin, thus hiring both The Toyman and The Phantasm to take over Gotham and terrorize it. Zsasz later lies to Penguin that Talia was killed during their date by Jim Gordon. He offers to kill Jim, however, Penguin does not allow him to kill Jim unless he is proven to him as a traitor. Zsasz meanwhile has Barbara Kean holding Talia al Ghul captive, and he bombs the building in which Talia and Barbara are located, thus killing Talia. After Penguin's men attempt to terrorize people at a wedding, Zsasz tries to bribe them against Penguin, promising the goons 200$ each. One of the gangsters however questions Zsasz. Zsasz shoots that same goon out of anger, and reveals that he intends to become the new King of Gotham. Jim Gordon then comes to investigate Zsasz and Penguin for their crimes, and thereafter, Zsasz reveals his true colors to Penguin. Penguin gets shocked and prepares with Jim for a war against Zsasz. Zsasz now has also Headhunter on his side, and the two go to hunt Penguin down. Lee however rescues Penguin from being killed, and Zsasz retreats, thus promising his revenge on Penguin.
He later goes to hunt Jim Gordon down. Jim encounters him and hides inside a kitchen. Victor Zsasz fights with Jim, who eventually knocks him out. During their battle, Zsasz revealed to Gordon that he works now for Rupert Thorne.
After loosing power, however, Zsasz starts working once again for Penguin as a member of Gotham's Elite.
