Vilgax is a major villain in the Character What franchise, Vilgax is a conqueror of planets and is the archenemy of Ben Tennyson, Vilgax is the main antagonist from the Ben 10 series.
Character What: The Adventures[]
In Ben 10, Vilgax tries shoot at Xylene's ship to retrieve the Omntrix, once he shot her ship, Xylene was force to send the Omntrix down to Earth, and causing Ben Tennyson to obtain the Omntrix. Vilgax was badly injury from the explosion in the bridge of the Chimerian Hammer. Vilgax was placed into a repair tank to recover from the damage taken from the explosion easier, thus, preventing him from going after the Omnitrix personally. Vilgax decides to send some of his drones to get the Omnitrix for him, but they were destroyed by Ben Tennyson and company.
Character What: Revenge of Evil[]
Vilgax was among the villains transported into Shadow Aaron intergalactic spaceship. Shadow Aaron revealed himself and proceeds to tell the villains that he is aware of their defeated by their respective heroes and Shadow Joe, Shadow Aaron explains that he could help them accomplishing their goals if they help to destroyed Shadow Joe forever, so he will never interfere with his plans of taking over the multiverse. However, Vilgax along with the other villains refuse to join him and will rather not take their chances with Shadow Joe, and they prefers to work alone. When Time Baby came to punish Shadow Aaron for reviving some of the villains and wittiness Shadow Aaron destroying him with one blast, Vilgax and the rest of the villains nervously agree to serve him.
Character What: New Hope[]
In Ben 10 Still Friend, Vilgax returns to seek revenge on Ben and retrieve the Omnitrix. With Shadow Joe and Ben Tennyson to defeat Vilgax with a series of combination attacks of Ben's aliens and Shadow Joe's powers. Vilgax was then taken away by the Plumbers.
Character What: Chronicles[]
In Bambi the Hero, Vilgax learned from one of his drones that Shadow Joe was losing his powers for a unknown reason and now sees this as a perfect opportunity to get his revenge on Shadow Joe for his pervious defeats. Later that evening, Vilgax returns to Earth to fight Shadow Joe in his current weakened condition. Twilight Sparkle and Dawn fought Vilgax to protect Shadow Joe. However, despite their best efforts, Vilgax manages to shrug off Twilight's magical attacks and defeated both of Dawn's Pokemon; Buneary and Pachirisu. After beaten both Dawn and Twilight, Vilgax grabs Shadow Joe and ready to finish him off once and for all. However, before Vilgax could deliver the final blow, Bambi angerly called out to him, ordered him to leave Shadow Joe alone. But Vilgax refuses as he didn't considered Bambi to be a threat to him, due to him being a regular fawn. Bambi however, goads Vilgax for being a coward for not wanting to destroy the young fawn. Irritated and distracted, Vilgax dropped Shadow Joe and turned to see Bambi running away from him. Turning his back on Shadow Joe, Vilgax decides to chase after Bambi for his mockery of him. Shadow Joe tries to stop Vilgax from going after Bambi, despite his weakened state, but Vilgax throw him on the ground, knocking him unconscious. After that, Vilgax chases Bambi in a nearby power station and seem to be helpless, yet makes a clever use of his surroundings to take care of Vilgax by himself. Bambi leads Vilgax to one of the power generators and times his escape perfectly to trick Vilgax into hitting one of the power generator, causing him to badly electrocuted before the power generator explodes and knocks him out. Afterwards, Vilgax was taken by the Clone Troopers and place into custody by Shadow Joe's orders.
In Fawn in the Empire, Vilgax was among the villains attending Shadow Joe's villain meeting in a warehouse. When Discord brought up that he had recently seen Bambi with Shadow Joe, Vilgax backs him up and tell Shadow Aaron that he had also seen Bambi with Shadow Joe.
Character What: Ultimate Hero[]
In Discord and Vilgax, Vilgax manipulated Discord into helping steal the Elements of Harmony, so he can absorb the magical energy from the Elements and use the power for himself, and destroyed both Shadow Joe and Ben Tennyson. After Discord successful aid Vilgax to taking the Elements, he betrays Discord since he only used him into helping him obtain the Elements for himself.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Enhanced Strength: Vilgax possesses monstrous physical strength, enough to break through sticky goo, cause minor damage to Diamondhead, easily defeated Humungousar with a single punch. When he used the have the cybernetic enhancements, he can use the boost steroids on his arms to increase his own strength and rage even further, but it can cause him great pain, the boosters give him enough strength to smash mountains into pieces.
- Enhanced Durability: Vilgax is highly resistance, being able to withstand Chromastone's energy beams, and Powerpuff Girls' eye lasers without visible damage. When he used to have the cybernetic enhancements, he was virtually indestructible, as he made Diamondhead scatter his fists, and recover from the Omntrix's explosion in mere seconds.
- Enhanced Endurance: Vilgax is able to survive nuclear explosions, but with a few major injuries.
- Enhanced Agility: Vilgax possesses tremendous agility.
- Enhanced Jumping: Vilgax possesses incredible jumping skills. When he used to have the cybernetic enhancements, he can jump above the skyscraper.
- Enhanced Hearing: Vilgax possesses supersonic hearing, enough to hears sound that are too faint for normal hearing to detect.
- Pyro Resistance: Vilgax can withstand fire-based attacks, such as Swampfire's flamethrowers, and even Heatblast's powerful fire attacks. He is also able to pass through Earth's atmosphere unharmed.
- Underwater Respiration: Vilgax can breathe underwater.
- Space Survivability: Vilgax can survive in the vacuum of space without special protection.
- Energy Blasts: Vilgax can project red energy blasts from hands.
- True Form: While in water, Vilgax can turn into his giant octopus-like monster form, referred as his true form.
- Tentacles: In his true form, Vilgax possesses many tentacles which he can restrain and hold multiple opponents.
