William Afton is the villainous main protagonist of the After Hours remake created by E.Breddy.

He is a serial killer who used to be the owner of Fazbear Entertainment alongside his business partner, Henry Emily, with him using the restaurants created off the company in order to lure and and murder several innocent children, one of which being a child named Cassidy. Who decades later, when William is being burned to death one final time, retrieves him and places him in a hell where he is forced to face his own creations.

Personality[]

William has a generally snarky personality. With him often bickering back and fourth with Cassidy while he endures the hell he is being put through by them. Despite seemingly being mostly unrepentent for his crimes, there are hints that he may feel remorse for his actions, such as when he is tormented by his own springbonnie suit and stated that he knew he was deserving of this fate with a somewhat remorseful expression.

Appearance[]

William takes the appearance of a man who looks to be roughly in his forties, wearing a purple security uniform with a yellow badge as well as a buzzcut. As Scraptrap, he takes the form of a rotting corpse inside of a decaying bunny suit with several bits of the material having rotted off as well as him lacking an arm.

Biography[]

Prior to the events of the song, William went through the same song and dance as he did in canon, luring several children into a backroom using a springbonnie costume and killing them off one by one, with one of these souls, Cassidy, becoming especially vengeful after they were killed.

Eventually, after Henry Emily had managed to trick William along with Scrap Baby, Molten Freddy and Lefty, into a trap in order to burn them all alive, William, now Scraptrap, desperately tried to escape before ultimately resigning to his fate. But just when he was ready to accept things, William gets grabbed by Cassidy, who after decades of serarching and waiting, was finally ready to take their revenge, and proceeded to drop William into a hell of their design.

From there, William's main goal was to survive. With the first place he was dropped into being Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria from the First Five Nights at Freddy's game, where he would turn the main four animatronics up their max capacity and sicc them after William. As William is surviving against the onslaught, Foxy sneaks up from behind in an attempted surprise attack, however Afton spotted him before this happened and jabbed him in the head with an axe that he had found on the ground. This would ultimately prove a futile effort to defend himself however, as Cassidy would turn Foxy up to his main AI, leading to the axe not affecting him, and proceeding to give him his first of many deaths in the video.

After what can only be assumed to be hours of torture, Cassidy switched up the scenary, moving William to the location of the second Five Nights at Freddy's game where he once more has to survive against the animatronics at max level. At the tail end of this stage of William's torment, Cassidy confronts William themselves, and after a quick back and fourth, they move to the next area.

William is now expected to survive in Fazbear's Fright against the Phanton Animatronics, and even himself in the form of Springtrap. It is here that William shows what is his only bit of remorse in the entire video by stating that Cassidy can "stuff me in a suit cause I know that I'm deserving" with a solemn expression, implying that he feels at least somewhat bad for his crimes.

Eventually, Cassidy once more appears and teleports William to his next stage of hell where he is stuck in the bedroom of what is presumably his own house and is forced to face against nightmarish versions of the main animatronics along with their halloween variants. Eventually, Cassidy confronts William once again in the form of Nightmare Fredbear before teleporting him to his next stage of hell.

Now in the Sister Location, William is forced so survive against the Funtime Animatronics. Starting off with Ennard, William, after being briefly mutilated by him, manages to escape into the secret room of the Sister Location where he now must fight against all of the other Funtimes before eventually coming face to face with Baby.

Then, Cassidy once more appears and teleports him to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place where he must fight against the Scrap Animatronics as well as all of the other robots that could be purchased within that game's tycoon mode. After setting the place alight, Cassidy teleports William to his final stop, the location of Ultimate Custom Night, and has him face every animatronic at once, and while William is able to survive against this for a good amount of time, he is eventually caught by Old Man Consequences, stuffed into a Fredbear Suit, and killed via springlocks. Cassidy comes in, looming over Afton's corpse, and prepares to start the game again, before Old Man Consequences comes in to have a little chat with them.

From there, what happened to Afton is unknown, but judging by Cassidy's unwillingness to rest their own soul, it can be assumed that he continued his torture after the events of the video.
