Willow Park is a reoccurring character in MoringMark's Luzifer AU webcomic series.
She is an evil, social darwinist version of Willow Park ailing from an alternate universe.
Personality[]
As with most characters in the Luzifer AU, Willow is the direct opposite of her canon self. The original Willow was an incredibly kind witch who was tragically bullied for having weak magic, while this Willow is a powerful witch who harasses others for their poor magic. She goes so far as to say that weaker witches should be killed so that they don't taint future generations.
However, Willow did seem affable to Gus and Luz, implying she has some humanity left in her. When compared to her supposed friend, Gus, Willow is fairly reserved, often expressing disinterest in the world around her. Willow also seems to have a hatred for nature, given her lumberjack attire, though the fact that she seemingly tied up Luzifer with a vine suggests that she uses plant magic, putting this idea into question.
Despite her demeanor, it appears that Willow isn't as evil as she makes herself out to be as, despite expressing glee at being able to kill Luz by lighting her on fire after finding out her status as a human, she and Gus are reluctant to actually do the deed.
Furthermore, after the three all accidentally ignite themselves and Luz saves them with an ice glyph, Willow seems to have completely lost interest in killing her, with the three deciding to go get some "not-dogs" to eat instead. This seems to imply that Willow has gained a less bigoted view towards humans and less powerful witches and may actually change for the better. Additionally, just like her main universe's self, Willow displays a romantic attraction to Hunter. To this end she protects Hunter's disembodied hand when Luz tries to get rid of it (presumably to avoid some sort of multiversal incursion) and even helps him escape from the imprisonment of Universe 1's Luz.
Appearance[]
Willow is a plus-sized witch with light skin and blue hair. Willow wears a black shirt and tattered green pants. As mentioned above, Willow dresses in attire akin to a lumberjack, having a yellow flannel jacket and a brown lumberjack's hat. While her outfit is vastly different in this universe, she still retains the large, round glasses her main universe self was known for.
Trivia[]
- Willow is somewhat similar to Bria from the original series, as both are magic students who adapt a social darwinist mentality, and both are associated with Gus Porter in some way. Unlike Bria, Willow is shown to have changed for the better.
