Synopsis

Want to talk about the complexities of evolution? Evolution is about strength, power, to dominate the weak and to be frank I find these lowlife so called "enhanced" monkeys to be very lacking. Evolution is when beings such as I have reached to the potential of being gods! And all of you have failed the ultimate test of survival of the fittest! Now don't you dare argue that my philosophy is nothing but childish "Troll Logic" when you of simple minded mammals don't know a thing about evolution!!
~ Xuriah D'arcmast'r and his evolutionary beliefs.

Xyras Xolgin, later known as Xuriah D'arcmast'r, The Master, Xachuriah Masters, and Zeus is one of the main antagonists of the Armored Studios Omniverse, also known as Multiversal Legends. Starting out as the main antagonist of the "Doomsday Saga", the first saga of the Multiversal Legends verse.

He is a powerful, psychopathic super-being known as an Ultramight, who were design by hyper-intelligent species sent by the Prime Alphas as a prototype to other superpowered beings that'll soon become Enhancers.

Initially created to be the guardian of the Earth and defending all life on the planet, Xuriah's ego and hunger for power has him decided to usurp his creators and use their knowledge and technology to further augment himself and becoming the tyrannical supervillain with desires to conquer the world, if not the whole Omniverse. He's also the creator of the murderous creature known as Herr Zaal and created several clones of himself. Xuriah desires to also eradicate all Enhancers for being inferior copies of himself which was the reason he created Herr Zaal. He also happens to be allied with Niklovich and Carnage Circle as well as their employer. He is also "partners" with the evil Lovecraftian Leviathan Ravagus.

Xuriah is one of the main antagonists of Beyond Dimensions: Dark Forces, Champions and Doomsday Raid, and a major antagonist of Omniversal Warriors. He is the archenemy of Daevios Brightmore, Prometheus, and is one of the few recurring arch-rivals to Devos Brightmore and his friends.

Is voiced by SleepingGuy, who also voiced Landon in PreSurgence, Xylo in The XYLO Chronicles, Master Magus from the same franchise, and Ai Tsaon in the English dub of Acting.

Overview[]

Xuriah D'arcmast'r is one of the most dangerous villains in the franchise, originally created as a super soldier to bring peace across Earth as well as protecting its people they were sent to serve. However, Xuriah decided otherwise that it's best that he rules it under a fascist dictatorship which led him to kill off his creators while using their technology to produce weapon for him to conquer other worlds and make him feel like a god. Xuriah soon establish a new regime, though it was believed by some that his rule was necessary in order to bring peace across the galaxy, it was soon revealed it as a mere facade as he just wanted to be in control of everything that he sees and be as cruel and oppressive as possible.

Due to his dangerously intelligent potential and power, he became one of the many enemies to the Champions, as well as other heroes like Master Mueller and Ben Diablo. He later became the ruler of Hell later on in the Champions of the Multiverse series after the death of Remiok Sethos (the former ruler of Hell). One time he tried to release a race of eldritch creatures calls Leviathans in order to become a Lord of Chaos in which he succeeds on doing so but end up being locked outside of creation along with the Leviathans before he could use his full potential to conquer the infinite multiverse. Later on, he has to fight Billy the Destroyer over who would become the new Lord of Evil after the recent death of Nekrozoth. He was also "friends" with Malum and occasional ally due to having similar goals, and is both the benefactor, employer, and occasional ally of Niklovich.

History[]

Origins[]

Xuriah was once a bio-mechanical organism only known as XIN-81, said to be the first "True Utramight" along with many other test subjects after their predecessors were killed off. He was created by the Prime Alpha known as Annukai Parthemetheus, and his partner Kronos (who is in fact an evil cosmic alien named Xigotis G'Nöms") along with several other aliens known as "Preservers". The stillborn was hostile, and vicious, and was especially uncontrollably homicidal towards the scientists and its siblings. G'Nöms saw potential in this creature, and when Parthemetheus was out to handle other affairs, G'Nöms was put in charge. Kronos/G'Nöms in secret launches the other Ultramight younglings to Earth when it was still a dangerous and hostile place, resulting in many of the stillborns to perish much to G'Nöms's apathy. It was revealed he wants to mold these creatures to be his personal army to continue his quest for power.

The stillborn was left alone with another, who would grow up to be Oberon Xenoheim, and the two were forced to survive together in the harsh world. Over the centuries, they hunted for food and evolving more and more with their intellect soon increasing. They encountered the evolving humans and tried to communicate with them. However, they treated them as freaks and driven them away, garnering XIN's hatred for rejecting him. The two would finally unlock their powers, with XIN gaining both psychokinetic and electric powers, allowing XIN and the others to come back to their creators.

Now renamed into "Xyras Xolgin", he soon meets his two creators, Annukai and G'Nöms, and were taught by both alongside Oberon. Xyras was personally taught by G'Nöms in militaristic and scientific fields, and tries to taint Xyras into becoming his little pawn. Xyras grew past his evolution long enough to know what G'Nöms was doing, but plays along simply because his ideals interests him. He adopted the principals of "Survival of the Fittest" and the concept of Evolution, believing he was the pinnacle of such thing having been born in the harsh territories of prehistoric Earth. He and Oberon were then taught to be Champions, alongside learning to control their abilities, and when an invasion happened on Earth led by Nekrozoth's forces, Xyras and Oberon would go to defeat them. The now evolved humans began to worship them as gods, much to Xyras's surprise who took a liking to the idea of playing a deity.

Unfinish ''Forces'' series[]

XuriahD'arcmast'r

Xuriah in the ''Forces'' comic.

Xuriah D'arcmast'r appears as the main antagonist of the unpublished two issues story called Forces, originally supposed to be the first series in Multiversal Legends.

Before the story reach to an abrupt end, Xuriah was to be the starter main antagonist of the series who would've been a recurring thorn to the duo Protagonist later on and was gonna be an acolyte of Xorin, who was gonna appear as the overarching antagonist. It was stated in the story that he terrorized the Pandora Dimension for centuries before being locked away in one of their prisons (presumably by his nemesis Master Mueller). His archenemies were Ben Diablo and Akuma (Niklovich never existed at the time the comic was made).

Xuriah makes his introduction in the beginning of the first issue brooding and swearing his revenge on those who imprisoned him before being interrupted by a cellmate of his who's a demon. Xuriah devours his cellmate afterwards for interrupting him which soon let the guards to attempt to subdue him but to no avail. He mercilessly massacres the guards, crushing the head of one of them named Barmick. Xuriah opens a portal before pulling a switch to release all the prisoners.

The next scene, he makes a speech about how he'll have his revenge on the entire Pandora Dimension to his own army of demons. Using his power gauntlet, Xuriah caused a cosmic dimensional scale Earthquake in an attempt to destroy it.

In the incomplete second issue, he was informed by one of his soldiers that someone seek to speak with him (it was going to be Xorin). Xuriah ordered that he be let in, so he'll talk with the person but then suddenly starts changing to his monstrous lizard humanoid form (his true form). He ordered his minion to leave the room at once as he doesn't want anyone to see his true form but ends up killing the soldier. An incomplete scene was going to have him speak with his master Xorin but it was never finished along with the other part of the comic.

Appearance[]

Xuriah changes what he wears at times, but he often wears his dark gray trench coat and dark grey pants. He also always wears his gauntlet even in his true form. Xuriah also has black hair with a scar on his right eye (or left depending on the issue). His other form is that of a demonic reptilian alien with dark red skin. He also has sharp metallic claws on his tail and fingers. He also possesses a tail that also has metallic blades across it. At the end of his tail is an extremely sharp scythe capable of piercing the sharing metal.

Personality[]

This guy reeks of pure evil, I wouldn't be surprised if he eats kittens or babies during lunch. Dude is simply just a madman who thinks he's more special than everyone - and everything - in the universe.
~ Alborzar on Xuriah D'arcmast'r

Xuriah D'arcmast'r is a psychopath, a genocidal madman with hunger of power and his own self-centered delusions of godhood. He's obsessed with his own glory and is an egotistical narcissist of the highest order that he believes everyone, including his own clones, are beneath him. He also a firm believer in human evolution and finds the human race to be so lacking that they failed the test of evolution. He considered that he has ascended far up evolutionary chain that he views himself as the most powerful and intelligent life form in the planet. He thought himself as so superior he made a race of clones with plans to assimilate the human race into clones of himself.

As a firm believer in "Might Makes Right" and "Survival of The Fittest", he believes the string deserve to rule and gain power instead of serving the weaker species. He believes that through his beliefs he's both the strongest and most powerful creature on Earth he should have the right to rule all life on the planet. He selects followers get seems strong, making them useful to him by granting them powers and hi-tech equipment and weaponry. However, those he deemed weak are culled from his ranks, as he believes the weak has no value to him.

He despises the Enhancer race, whom he considered to be failed copycats with their existence offending him. His hatred was so great, he created the murderous organism Herr Zaal to wipe them out completely no matter how brutal the method is. Xuriah however, still view them as a threat to his plans of conquest and still treats then with extreme caution. Even during his time as a hero, he looked down upon the Enhancers and the human race, which is one of the reasons he decided to betray his masters and steal their technology.

Before he fallen to his desire of power, Xuriah was always egotistical, cruel, and ruthless and a bit of a control freak. As Zeus, he had a hot temper and zero tolerance of those who defy him and often give extremely harsh punishment that may come across as both petty and disproportionate (much like the original myth about Zeus). However, he still has a noble side to him: He had standards and punish oath-breakers, liars, and those who dare violate the rules of hospitality and had saved people from harm or try mitigating damages caused by others should they go too far. However, as time went by to do many others given power, he became more corrupt and unreasonable to the point he considered his task as a defender beneath him. He thought he had the right to rule and not serve, which gave him the thought of hating his makers for tasking him with defending those who seemed inferior to himself, or in his own words "Treated like a slave to serve a race of sheep".

He abandoned all of his old self, including those that would've made him more redeeming with his more negative qualities obviously made him worse. He considered his old self to be weak, foolish, and thought saw normal concepts like loves and compassion as pathetic and the very reason why most species failed to achieve ascendance. However, it was stated he had a good relationship with Prometheus, his mentor, and was hurt that he betrayed him. However, whatever past relationships he once had with Prometheus were long gone with him showing no qualms in torturing him or trying to eradicate all humanity to hurt him. It was suggested that one of the reasons why he tried to eradicate the Enhancers we're to hurt Prometheus as he made them and gave them "The Flame". Xuriah does not care for morality or how people view himself, it was he think of himself that matters. He doesn't care if one seems him as good or evil, as they both simply feed his ego. He enjoys being both love by some and hated by others, but he's fully aware of his wickedness and cruelty and admits he gleefully enjoy his atrocities and his infamous life of pure evil, however as stated before he does not care if he's viewed as benevolent as it also gives him more followers who worship and love him.

His immense ego also granted him high arrogance and smugness. Feeling confident of his abilities while denouncing all others as beneath him, thinking he has no equals thanks to his delusions of grandeur. His raving ego also leads him to have insidious rantings and blasphemous boasts of his own beliefs on evolution and his claim of divinity to the point that one considers him a mere child underneath all his high and mighty attitude. Even his former mentor Prometheus claim that he's simply, in his words "A result of an arrogant, spoiled child given too much power like how a parent gives them too many gifts when they never earned it". Some might add he could be comparable to Niklovich, who also has a mindset of a child believing himself to be a god. When he lost his vast resources and some of his abilities, he became less of a threat to the Champions and other greater evils, though he was still a threat to many he was nowhere near as dangerous as he was before. Due to his ego, he refused to believe it and still thought to himself to be a Champion level threat, confirming his smug delusions and childish behavior. His ego is what eventually led him to his final defeat at the hands of Nekrozoth who he believes he could defeat after regaining some of his resources. He was easily defeated, and reduced to a rambling mess as his mind deteriorated as his ego is finally damaged which finally help the heroes arresting him and locking him up in the Pandora Dimension (only for him to escape offscreen). Though regardless of his arrogance, he's no fool and tend to not underestimate his enemies too much. He makes sure to prepare each time he's defeated and not repeat the same mistakes.

Etymology and Symbolism[]

Xuriah has several allusions to both Satan and the Demiurge, both acting as inspiration for some of Xuriah's characterizations. For starters, Xuriah was a powerful entity design to be the ultimate weapon and protector of the multiverse. He took the form of a dragon like serpent but grew arrogant in his powers and hungered for power. So, he usurped his creators and use the magic and technology for himself to conquer the multiverse. He began posing as several gods like Zeus and Baal after growing as a god complex, ruling humanity with an iron fist much akin to the Demiurge. He has hordes of demonic creatures at his disposal, becoming demonic himself as he grew a custom to dark magic.

His true form is heavily inspired by the depictions of what the Demiurge looks like too, with added features the Serpent and Dragon in the Bible. He even gains an army of followers through lies and manipulation to further his goals of multiversal domination, acting like an Anti-Christ of sorts as countless blindly follow him through his lies.

Powers and Abilities[]

It's even capable of destroying or taking down a Prime Omega Juggernaut ship. It's also capable of long ranging distances attacks, using to kill or injure someone from several miles away especially across the planet. Xuriah could create burst of electric energy to decimate buildings such as fortresses or castles.
    • Reign of Thunder attack: When transformed into his true form, he could cause thunder and lightning to crash down on his enemies as it were reigning arrows. Which he once did before when fighting an army of knights and paladins back in medieval times.

Not only that, he is even granted reality-warping abilities: During his time in the prison dimension, he created several planets and his own species, essentialy created a whole universe within as its god. At least in his half of the dimension as he has to share with Magus.

Quotes[]

Good, or evil, matters not to me. Your thoughts on my actions, and myself are nothing but flattering!"
~ Xuriah probably on people's moral compasses
You fool, you have been nothing but a tool, a witless pawn in the grander schemes of things. A machination of my own design! Once I'm done with you, I'll cast back to the streets, back to the life where no one yearns for your besides the vermins and rodents who'll feed on your carcasses!
~ Xuriah discarding a minion.

Trivia[]

  • Xuriah is one of Brandon's oldest villains before Multiversal Legends was a thing, possibly predating Nekrozoth, Jacob Nemsus, and Malroc. In fact, he's possibly the second oldest with Lord Dominus being the oldest antagonist Brandon has ever made.
  • Goliad from Adventure Time was the primary inspiration for the character a few years back.
  • Initially, Xuriah and Master Magus used to be the same character twice before being officially his own character. However they do share some similarities as both being Fallen Heroes, having clones, evil dictator and businessmen characteristics, and having similar physical appearances.
  • While some artwork was created by BrandonDarkOne47/Powermonger2003, the others are made by RilledStilled AKA That Guy on Discord.
  • One of the artwork, with the throne of skulls and fire, is heavily based on Father from Fullmetal Alchemist.
  • As of 4/14/2024, Xuriah, Nekrozoth, Herr Zaal, and Niklovich are now in public domain.
