When he was first introduced, Yellow Demon Steve was scared and cowardly, even stunned when Light and Sabre wants to destroy him, and only decides to speak up when told to leave the cave.
After his true personality was shown however, he was cunning and full of himself, seemingly have no shame or guilt to what he did to the Steves yet feels agony outside the World Below. He would hold someone hostage to get what he wants.
Despite being an evil person overall, Yellow Demon Steve do show some pureness, he was anxious about trusting Sabre, but still promised his end of the deal. Once he was given the chance to go back to his world, he has a change of attitude and thanks Sabre for helping him out.
Biography[]
Past life[]
Yellow Demon Steve used to be a normal Yellow Steve. During that time period, he was evil as he was now, stealing energy from other Steves for himself. Once he was destroyed in an unspecified time period, he went to the World Below and became a Demon Steve. However, unlike the other Demon Steves, Yellow Demon Steve was given consciousness and can talk while the others can't.
Leaving the World Below[]
It is unspecified how he accidentally left the World Below, but he could not get back and was stuck in the normal world. He decided to cloak himself and turn the cave the portal was in into his temporary hideout. During that time, a Green Steve went into the cave to collect strings from spiders, Yellow Demon Steve decided to take advantage of the situation and stole most of the Green Steve's energy. The Green Steve supposedly passed away in his home which alerts Sabre and Light to go to the cave Green Steve's friend, Orange Steve mentioned. Yellow Demon Steve was inside the cave when Sabre and Light investigated, he punched Sabre before Sabre could make out the portal to the World Below and ran away from the cave to a nearby forest. After a while, he came back outside the cave thinking that the others must've left by now, but was spotted by a Colorless Guard Sabre and Light brought with and flee for the second time. He appears again for the third time, desperate to get back into the cave, but he accidentally stepped into a trap Sabre, Light and the Colorless Guard made and was cornered by the two of them.
Deception and final appearance[]
Once he was cornered and his identity was revealed, he decided to trick the three of them by begging for Light and Sabre to not destroy him. Their conversation was interrupted by a struck of lightning coming from the Steve Village, and Sabre decides to leave Light alone with the Yellow Demon Steve. When Sabre was gone, Yellow Demon Steve took the chance to steal some of Light's energy and hold him hostage with a sword Yellow Demon Steve had in his inventory. He teleported himself and Light to a house nearby the oldest strongest Yellow Kingdom. Sabre and the others got to the place with a teleporter and Sabre decides to make a deal with Yellow Demon Steve, if Sabre could open up a portal to the World Below, Yellow Demon Steve will free Light Steve. When Sabre and the others went to open up a portal to the World Below, Light Steve talked to Yellow Demon Steve about cookies. Yellow Demon Steve was a bit skeptical when Sabre arrived quicker than he imagined, he wondered if Sabre was leading him into a trap which Sabre denies, so he decides to follow Sabre and the others to a Portal which Professor Red made that is powered by a Salmon. He was quite stunned once he saw the portal in his own eyes and frees Light Steve, thanking Sabre for helping him out and went to the World Below.
