Zenra is a minor antagonist of the My Hero Academia and Rising of the Shield Hero crossover fanfic King Explosion Murder the Shield Hero, serving as the major antagonist of chapter 6. He is a botanist who was once the royal gardener, obsessed with queen Mirellia Q. Melromarc, which led to him losing his job.
Personality[]
At first Zenra comes off as creepy but polite and friendly botanist, who wants to retrieve an ancient family treasure, but can't do this because of his lack of fighting power, as well as knowledge and skills in curse magic. To prove that he's not lying, he demonstrates Katsuki and Neia a golden coins, using them as guarantee that they will receive their payment. He also hides from them the reason he wants said treasure.
However, once his mask comes off, Zenra reveals his true colours of delusional stalker, obsessed with queen Mirellia so much that he burned all of his gardens when she rejected his advances. In order to make queen his wife he goes as far as to plan to create an army of plant warriors to conquer Melromarc, kill her husband and kids and force her to marry him. He was greatly insulted when Katsuki called him a perverted creep, claiming that it always was about love, not sex. He also has no qualms about manipulating many people, from his former guild members to adventurers, sending them to death.

Zenra is described as a strange-looking man in his 30's with white hair with red streaks on its sides, wearing mage robes with white scientific apron and gloves.
History[]
In past Zenra was the queen's former advisor of agriculture and the castles royal gardener that made numerous scientific discoveries and carved beautiful landscapes for her. Over the years he fell in love with her and five years before the story confessed to her by presenting her his most beautiful flower breeds as a gift of his love, only for Mirellia to reject his advances. Enraged by this, he burned down his gardens and was fired for that, which also led to his reputation being ruined.
Joining the small guild, he one day found out that one of his ancestors was a world-famous alchemist and had said to have created a plant with tremendous power, which Zenra decided to use for his revenge. Telling his former guild about his family's ancient treasure, he went with them to find it for monetary gain, only to find out that the chest was enhanced by the cardinal level curse that vaporized 3 of his partners. Zenra decided to change his plans and paralyzed the last two guild members once they turned back to the cave's entrance, planning to use them for experiments.
Over the next five years he lured in groups of young adventurers by making them accept a supposed easy quest for big money. As a guarantee compensation he would gave them a gold coin, sent them to the cave with treasure, where they tried to break open the chest only for a few of them to be vaporized to dust. Then, when they would realize that it's impossible for them and leave the cave, he activated the paralyzing spell from a distance he had placed on the coin to go off in his command and paralyze all of them in order to use them as a guinea pigs for his experiments.
One day the Shield Hero Katsuki Bakugou and his partner water elf Neia accepted Zenra's quest. However, Katsuki, feeling that there's something wrong, purposely drops the coin on the ground, wishing to be as far away from it as he could. After that he successfully breaks the curse, retrieves the plant's seed and destroys the golem that was guarding it. After duo left the cave, they were attacked by the botanist who reveals to them his plans to kill them, retrieve the seed and use it to create an army of powerful plant warriors in order to conquer the Melromarc, kill Mirellia's family and force her to marry him. To do so he summons a bunch of his test subjects and orders them to kill Katsuki and Neia. Once Katsuki and Neia destroy his test subject, Zenra merges them into one big gargantuan monster capable to regenerate his wounds. During the following battle Katsuki manages to get to the botanist and push him from the cliff, which resulted in him breaking both of his legs and back, and soon enough being partially buried in a rockslide. After that he was noticed by hungry vultures who ripped him apart and devoured.
