The Zombies are the group of antagonists in Plants vs. Zombies 2: AltverZ.
About[]
AltverZ is a Plants vs. Zombies 2 mod created by Poss and Sergio+. This mod has a similar style to Project ECLISE, but easier to feel similar to the original game.
Differences from vanilla version[]
Acient Egypt[]
- Tomb Fest Raiser: This zombie appears in the surprise attack Tomb Fest, as he spawns from a group of graves, and he summons a tombstone every three seconds in a total of five tombstones.
Pirate Seas[]
- Barrel Bane Imp: This Imp comes out of the barrel from the Barrel Bane surprise attack. It has lower health and eating damage.
- Imp Cannon: The cannon fires 10 Imps instead of 6.
- Parrotrousle Parrot: These parrots appeared in the Parrotrousle surprise attack, as they fly up and steal plants.
Wild West[]
- Short-fused Prospector: This zombie appears in the surprise attack Short Fuse, as he immediately jumps to the left side of the lawn upon entering it in exchange for halved eating damage.
- Poncho Zombie: This zombie always wears a metal grate, and the grate protects him from chilling and frozen effects.
Far Future[]
- Jetpack Zombie: This zombie now hovers above straightforward projectiles.
- Robo-Cone Zombie: The robot now has higher defense.
- Mecha-Football Zombie: The robot's defense increased.
- Disco-Tron 3000: The defense of the robot got buffed.
- Gargantuar Prime: The mech's defense got enhanced, as well as Bug Bot Imp now got deployed on the fourth column.
Dark Ages[]
- Buckethead Zombie: This zombie can't be granted knight helm.
- Knight Zombie: The Zombie is weaker, doesn't spawn naturally.
- Peasant Flag Zombie: The Zombie King can also grant this zombie knight helm.
- Reanimator Zombie: When this zombie gets destroyed, he summoned a tombstone that spawns Plagued Peasants every 8 seconds. After 90 seconds, the tombstone explodes and spawns Plagued Peasants in adjacent lanes.
- Plagued Peasant: This zombie is similar to standard Peasant Zombie except he is immune to toxic.
Lost City[]
- Bug Zombie: This zombie is now weaker and slower.
- Lost Pilot Zombie: This zombie has lesser health than his vanilla counterpart.
- Excavator Zombie: This zombie now moves slower.
- Relic Hunter Zombie: This zombie is weaker in terms of health.
- Imp Porter: This zombie now moves faster in exchange for the health of a basic zombie.
- Turquoise Skull Zombie: He is weaker, as well as his laser deals fewer damages.
Frostbite Caves[]
- Cave Flag Zombie: This zombie gained a flag redesign.
- Dodo Rider Zombie: This zombie now absorbs less fire damage.
- Weasel Hoarder: This zombie now summons less Ice Weasels.
- Sasquatch Imp: This Imp is a replacement for Imp Dragon Zombie.
Neon Mixtape Tour[]
- MC Zom-B: This zombie now deals less damage.
- Bassist Zombie: This zombie drops in a tile, damages plants with shockwaves from the speaker, and acts like a basic zombie when the speaker is destroyed.
Events[]
- Festive Buckler: This zombie is similar to Swashbuckler Zombie but with higher health and slower speed.
- Feastivus Poncho Zombie: This zombie is similar to the standard Poncho Zombie except he is also immune to the butter effect, has high health, and moves slower.
- Caroling Pianist: This zombie is similar to Pianist Zombie but with lower health and higher speed.
- Feastivus Camels: The lead member is tougher and eats faster than standard Camel Zombies.
- Valentines' Zombie. Valentines' Conehead, Valentines' Buckethead, Valentines' Flag Zombie: These zombies move faster than a basic zombie.
- Cupid Imp: This Imp is weak in exchange for a fast speed.
- Lovestruck Gargantuar: This Gargantuar is faster than others due to the power of love.
- Springening Poncho Zombie: This zombie is not only immune to chill but also eats further and faster.
- Egg-o-Matic 2K21: It is similar to the Mecha-Football Zombie, only his speed is faster as his health is lower.
- Garg-throwing-Gargs: This Gargantuar can multiply himself by four, albeit his health is much weaker than a normal Garg.
- Mystery Egg: This zombie releases a random zombie when destroyed
- Firefly Zombie: It is similar to Bug Zombie, except for its weaker health and faster speed.
- Sunshine Charmer: This zombie uses her staff to stun sun-producing plants.
- King of the Grill: This Gargantuar cannot be frozen.
- Hot Dog Imp: This Imp has much more health than a standard Imp.
- Supreme Ra: This is a mini boss who spawns Ra Zombies, Sunshine Charmers, Turquoise Skull Zombies and Parachute Rains; as well as damages plants with sun projectiles and teleports zombies 2 tiles ahead.
- Webhead Zombie: This is a brickheaded version of the Halloween Zombie, whose robotic spider grants him protection from great damage, in exposure of EMPeach's stunning effect.
- Possessed Excavator: This hollow version of the Excavator Zombie only digs defensive plants and moves fast, in exchange for his removable shovel.
- Bride Imp: This Imp is invisible and can only be seen while eating a plant.
- Overstuffed Zombie: This zombie deals more damage than a regular basic zombie.
- Chefster Zombie: While he moves faster, he reflects projectiles slower.
- Gobbling King Zombie: This zombie now moves slower.
- Zombie Turkey: While he moves slower, he absorbs more damages.
- Toymaker Troglobite: This zombie pushes presents that contains surprises.
- Gone-Green Flag Zombie: This is a St. Patrick variant of Flag Zombie.
- Lepre-Rider Zombie: This zombie flies over anything its encounter for three tiles.
- Irish Dance Freak: This breakdancer kicks zombies further while moves slower.
- Replicator Reanimator: This Reanimator variant summons a grid item when defeated. When the grid item self destruct, it spawns two more Replicator Reanimators and as those two zombies dropped their grid items, they summon Leprechaun Imps after their self-destruction.
- Lucky Zcorpion Imp: This ZCorpion Zombie variant deploys Lucky Zombies, Gone-Green Flag Zombies, Leprechaun Imps, and Irish Dance Freaks and after firing five zombies, it self destructs.
- Luckiest Gargantuar: This is a St. Patrick Variant of Gargantuar.
- Party Zombie, Party Conehead, Party Buckethead, and Party Crasher Zombie: They are the basic variants for birthday events.
- Birthday Delivery Roller: This zombie's barrel carries a Reinforced Gravestone.
- Birthday Cake Pharaoh: This zombie is similar to Pharaoh Zombie except he walks backwards when the cake is destroyed.
- Balloon Magician Zombie: Summon magic balloons to swarm plants.
- Clown-ster Zombie: This zombie spins backwards unlike Jester Zombie.
- The Arch-Magician: This mini-boss summons portals and big balloons to swarm plants.
- Chili Fan Zombie, Shoehead Chili Fan, Buckethead Chili Fan, Jarhead Chili Fan and Bean Flag Zombie: They are the basic variants for chillifest events.
- Outback Banjo Zombie: This zombie is similar to Bassist Zombie except her speaker shoots chilli beans.
- Lunar Super Fan Imp: This imp is similar to Super-Fan Imp, except he can explode on earlier columns.
- Fire Rooster: This zombie is similar to Zombie Chicken except it can switch lanes, has more health, and moves slower.
- Fortune Gargantuar: This is a Lunar Variant of Gargantuar.
- Wooly Imp: This is a Lunar Variant of Sasquatch Imp.

- Treasure Yeti: This zombie now has armor.
Trivia[]
- The 2K21 in the Egg-o-Matic is a reference to the year 2021, the year that the Springening Event got released.
- The Sunshine Charmer Zombie's staff design reminiscents the Plantern from the first Plants vs. Zombies game.
- Balloon Magician is the only non-Imp zombie that smiles.
