The Zombies are the main antagonists in the 2024 Plants VS. Zombies Fangame, Plants VS. Zombies: Fusion Edition. Like their Original Counterparts. They are an hungry horde who wants to eat the Player's brain. Except they come with various variants and various abilities.
Members[]
Each Zombie variants has its own hybrid counterparts and variants. Some of them are stronger, mainly the bosses and the Ultimate Zombies in the Odyssey Mini-Games.

Normal Zombies[]
- Normal Zombie - a regular zombie with no special abilities.
- Conehead Zombie - his traffic cone on his head makes him twice as tough as normal zombie.
- Buckethead Zombie - his bucket on his head makes him extremely resistant to damage.
- Screen-Door Zombie - carries a door that serves as a shield and blocks frontal attacks.
- Diamond/Golden/Silver-box Zombie - changes the crystal head armor's color after taking damage and transforms into a Conehead Zombie.
- Normal/Golden/Diamond Mystery box Zombie
Pole Vaulting Zombies[]
- Pole Vaulting Zombie - an athlete zombie that jumps over the first plant and walks slowly.
- Dancing Zombie - similar to Pole Vaulting Zombies, but summons four backup dancers around him after jumping over.
- Backup Dancer - summoned by Dancing Zombies after jumping over and a weaker version of Pole Vaulting Zombie.
- Trident Zombie - drops a trident to plants to damage them.
Dolphin Rider Zombies[]
- Dolphin Rider Zombie - jumps over the first plant on the water with his dolphin.
- Whale Rider Yeti - jumps over plants on three tiles including Tall-nuts, and turns back to attack the plants behind.
Newspaper Zombies[]
- Newspaper Zombie - a zombie reading a newspaper that runs fast after losing it.
- Scholar Zombie - much like Newspaper Zombie but his book serves as a stronger shield, runs extremely fast after losing it and deals high damage to plants.
Machines[]
- Zombarine - a dolphin-shaped submarine piloted by Snorkel Zombie that destroys plants on the water.
- Zombonis - a zombie riding a Zamboni that leaves an ice trail and crushes plants.
- Bobsled Zombie - a zombie riding a red machine that only appears when there's ice on the field and moves fast when on top of ice.
- Zomppelin - a flying zombie in a zeppelin that drops jack-in-the-box bombs below the plants.
Jack-In-The-Box Zombies[]
- Jack-In-The-Box Zombie - a zombie carries a jack-in-the-box that explodes and instantly destroys plants nearby.
- King Clown-In-The-Box Zombie - a stronger version of Jack-in-the-box Zombie that also explodes after death and transforms into normal Jack-in-the-box Zombie. If he is undamaged, he will move fast after exploding.
Pogo Zombies[]
- Pogo Zombie - a jumping zombie that never stops jumping over plants until it hits Tall-nut or its pogo stick stolen by Magnet-shrooms.
- Pogo Melon Zombie - a Pogo Zombie variant that stops and performs a big jump.
Gargantuars[]
- Normal Gargantuar - a large, extremely tough zombie that crushes plants with pole, and throws Imp when damaged enough.
- Giga Gargantuar - stronger version of Gargantuar.
- Mecha Gargantuar - a mechanical Gargantuar that is immune to control effects and keeps moving.
- Mecha Giga Gargantuar - stronger version of Mecha Gargantuar.
- Armored Gargantuar - an armored gigantic Gargantuar that is ultimately tough and spawns Imp every time he smashes with his mace and drops Mecha-nut when damaged.
Balloon Zombies[]
- Balloon Zombie - flies over plants and immune to most attacks.
- Buckecopter Zombie - a flying Bucket-nut Zombie behaves like balloon zombies that is immune to Blovers.
Yeti Zombies[]
- Yeti Zombie - can sometimes run away and has an ability to freeze plants around him.
- Nian Zombie - the most strongest common zombie. He is weak to Bambooms.
Other Common Zombies[]
- Football Zombie - a fast and very tough zombie dressed as American football player.
- Michael Zombie - a zombie that is based on Michael Jackson that summons vaulting Dancing Zombies around him.
- Snorkel Zombie - an aquatic zombie that submerges to avoid attacks.
- Digger Zombie - a miner zombie that tunnels underground and appears on the left side of the lawn.
- Catapult Zombie - lobs basketballs to the plants, moves after running out of basketballs and also crushes plants.
- Imp - a tiny zombie thrown by Gargantuar or Mecha-nut Zombie.
- Mecha-nut Zombie - a robotic Wall-nut that changes direction after hitting plants. Throws 5 Imps when destroyed. Can be stopped by Umbrella Leaf fusions.
- Bungee Zombie - descends from the sky and steals a plant.
- Ladder Zombie - puts a ladder on wall plant, allowing zombies to climb over it.

- The Ultimate Zombies are only exclusive to Odyssey Mini-Games
- Bucketshooter Zombies, Bucket-nut Zombies, Buckecopter Zombies, Rugby-nut Zombies, Mecha-nut Zombies and Giga Mecha-nut Zombies can drop items for the Player to use it.
- The Peashooter Whale Rider Yetis doesn't appear in the almanac but they appear in the survival levels.
- In this game, the Dancing Zombies and Backup Dancers were replaced by the pole vaulting zombies with their outfits and also introduced the new Dancing Zombie variant wearing sunglasses, a black hat, jacket and trousers known as Michael Zombie, Zombie Bobsled were also replaced by the red Zomboni riding a machine with bobsled parts.
- Tall-nut Zombie and Gatling Pea Zombie are the only ZomBotany zombies from the original game who do not appear. However, their respective variants; Rugby-nut Zombie, Frost-nut Zombie, and Gatling Rugby Zombie do appear.
